on the Tyra Show Tyra Banks occasionally admits to viewers that she is wearing a hair weave, as if to say "I may wear a weave, but at least I am admitting it." But yet on most shows she never says anything about it, meaning she rarely admits to it, and she continues to wear a weave even despite the fact that she has admitted to wearing one. So while she may (rarely) admit to wearing a weave on some shows, the fact that she continues to wear one could still lead some viewers to think that it was her real hair if they do not happen to be watching during one of the rare instances when she does make the admission. So it is like we are supposed to think that, "at least she is admitting to wearing a weave," but yet she knows hypothetically that there are those viewers who may still be led to believe that it is her real hair if they do not happen to hear her say that it is a weave. Otherwise why would she continue to wear it?

One, it would be too boring and repetitive if she talked about her hair weave on every single episode. Two, she is famous for being a model who looks good all the time, so she has to keep up the image. People want her to keep looking glamorous even if it's fake. Otherwise people would stop tuning in to her show.

Omg, do you seriously have no life? She doesn't even have to admit to wearing a hair weave to begin with. That's her personal business. The fact that she even does admit to it on occasion shows that she's not trying to deny or hide it. I don't think people who don't regularly watch her show would be too concerned about her weave. What do you propose she do? Have a section of her show dedicated to the announcing of her hair weave? That's ridiculous. Her show isn't 101 useless facts about Trya, it's an interview show. Would you also like to know whether the leather on her shoes is fake or real?

Many (tho not all) african american women wear weaves and wigs, as their hair is different than cuacasian hair and this works better for some of them. I didn't know that til i started working for a modeling agency, and my African American boss told me (she thought it was funny that I didnt' understand how the models hair changed so much from one picture to the next, lol)
Tyra isn't hiding the fact, she's probably just assuming most people know it and she doesn't feel the need to mention it.
Do you walk around saying "I'm wearing underwear" to everyone you see every day? or, if you're a woman, do you say "I'm wearing a push up bra" on the days you need a little "lift" to prevent someone from thinking that's all you? Ever wear colored contacts? Do you tell everyone you see about it? What about blush or lipstick? do yo assume they know, or do you inform them that your rosy glow is fake?
Either stop being hypocritical and let EVERYONE know your secrets (then be prepared for odd looks and awkward silences as no one really CARES), or keep your secrets and let her keep her not-so-secrets.

Hi I know people are very much interested with what celebrities wear as they are role models for the rest of us especially a lady such as Tyra, I know in most cases she is wearing a front lace wig, this is also very popular with Beyonce.
