WHY IS IT EVERTIME GET MY WEAVE TAKEN OUT OF MY HAIr???

my hair feels really thin, is it because i'm used to the thickness of the extensions or is it because you lose hair, the lady who does my hair says it's meant to help make your hair grow faster is she just pulling my leg? or is it true, im confused.

WHY IS IT EVERTIME GET MY WEAVE TAKEN OUT OF MY HAIr???

well i know from experience that when i take out my extentions i feel like i have less hair as well and its because alot of hair does fall out depending on if your own hair is being pulled on or if its glued its being teared out or sewn the pressure...lol it can help your hair to grow fast, but again you do loose hair...its not just you mama it happens to all of us, and our own hair is being flattened down so it feels like we have less...

What is the best way to remove bonding (weave glue) from your hair without damaging your hair?

I had surgery and had no choice but to put in extensions since I cannot comb my hair etc. Pls help have a event Friday need to wash out this mess

What is the best way to remove bonding (weave glue) from your hair without damaging your hair?

Use bond remover, its comes in a bottle like the bonding glue but it's white... Also, where you have the glue in your hair, spray it with oil sheen... Wash your hair with Creme of Nature Conditioning Shampoo, when you put in your conditioner get a fine tooth comb and comb it out... you might still have oily glue residue, so wash it again one more time...

What is the best way to remove bonding (weave glue) from your hair without damaging your hair?

glue adhesive or u mite have to snip the glue out....

Where is the cheapest place i can get hair braided at with weave?

Honestly, a person's house is your best bet. Getting hair braided with weave at a shop or salon will definately run you about 150+. I always ask my friends if they know anyone who braids hair really nice and they give me their number and I arrange it. That way you can go to the person's house, get your hair braided and save at least 50 dollars. Hope this helps.

When is it time to change my hair weave?

It depends how you have it in your hair. If its sewed in then you can leave it in for like 2months but if its glued in then go only 3 weeks cause it will look a mess. If you have a 6 month weave then its right there or infusions a year a lace front wig every three to four weeks redo it.

When is it time to change my hair weave?

when bingo season ends.

When is it time to change my hair weave?

When it gets all matted up. or when your new growth is coming in.

When is it time to change my hair weave?

When it gets difficult to comb or pick because there is so much new growth (more than 1 1/2 - 2 inches) and you begin getting matting.

When is it time to change my hair weave?

when people start seeing your tracks and it look all nasty and u see people whispering behind your back then its time 2 change your weave

Do you have to have really short hair to get a weave?

No, my sister-in-law has shoulder length hair and gets weaves to make her hair look longer and fuller.

Do you have to have really short hair to get a weave?

No, My cousin had hair half way down her back and got weave. If your hair that long u might as well just braid your own real hair

Do you have to have really short hair to get a weave?

No I love weaves and my hair is long because I can change the color length etc

Do you have to have really short hair to get a weave?

I was looking every where for a lace wig and I finally got one from lacewigsforme.com it is the best wig I have ever owned and it looks so real I can not beleive it I shower and wash it like it is my real hair I am in love

Im getting a sew-in weave, and Im going to use wavy hair..but my hair in the front where the bangs g

.......can i still get it, or do I have 2 use straight weave

Im getting a sew-in weave, and Im going to use wavy hair..but my hair in the front where the bangs go is short

If you're trying to get straight bangs in the front using extenstions then my best bet would be to use straight weave in the front, or get a weave that is straight but curls up and gets wavy with water or some hair solution.. Im not sure I answered your question, because it is kind of unclear

Im getting a sew-in weave, and Im going to use wavy hair..but my hair in the front where the bangs go is short

A good tech can give you a fringe out of the new weave. They don't have to have any of your hair except the small section covering the top track. This section is critical to your weave looking as natural as possible. Talk to your stylist/ tech about this and see what they intend to do about this area. Best of luck.

Left my braids(weave) in too long, my hair has locked?

It's very painful pulling on my hair to get the knots out. I've never left my hair in braids this long. I screwed up this time, huh? What can I do to my hair to help ease the process? My hair is so damaged now.. :/

Left my braids(weave) in too long, my hair has locked?

I've always had the tendancy to leave my braids in longer than I should and it is always a pain. I'm always left with a big fro of unmanageable hair. The best thing that I've learned is to give myself a lot of time to cut off as much of the braid as possible and then carefully comb out your hair from the root to the tip. Trying to rush your way through the process causes even more damage to your hair as you pull through the hair causing a lot of breakage. Once you've got all of your braids out the best thing is to deep condition your hair. If you can put a plastic cap on your conditioned hair and then sit under the dryer for about 15

minutes and let the conditioner do its job. Then rinse it out. Try to avoid perming/relaxing or having your hair braided right away. It's best to give your hair a bit of a break even if it's just a week. It's also a good idea to either wrap your head at night with a scarf or put a satin pillow case on your pillow. Cotton pillow cases causes a chaffing of sorts to occur between your hair and the cotton. Try to shampoo no more than once every 5 days because this too strips the hair of moisture when done too frequently. I know that this applies to hair of my texture as an african-american. Other hair types usually get more oily when left unwashed for more than a couple of days - thus their need to wash more often. I've recently started using primrose oil on my hair. I put a nickle size of the oil in the palm of my hands and rub it through my wet hair after a shampoo. I comb it through and then blow-dry it. At night I put only a few drops of the oil in the palm of my hands and run it through my hair before wrapping it. My hair is a lot softer and feels silkier. Hope some of these tips work for you!

**I said to work from the root of your hair to the tip when combing it out. I just read someone else's post who correctly stated to start combing from the tip to the end - as she said the other way would cause more hair to break off and that's what you want to avoid : )

Left my braids(weave) in too long, my hair has locked?

You should have a professional look at your hair before you make any regrettable decisions (like cutting your hair).

Left my braids(weave) in too long, my hair has locked?

Get yourself into a bathtub and let your hair have a good soak for a while. Then, use lots of conditioner. I use a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner to get the massive amounts of gel and spray I use out of my hair and I still use a 2nd conditioner. Maybe it'll work for your knots.

Left my braids(weave) in too long, my hair has locked?

Did you wash it yet? Try to ease the knots out! When you take your braids out you have to be careful period because I have had the same problem before but I didn't leave it in that long. And if there is absolutely nothing that you can do go to a professional. GOOD LUCK

Left my braids(weave) in too long, my hair has locked?

This has happened to me before.. Don't worry, the ideal thing to do is to go to a professional and have them take them out.. But If you arn't up for that..Cut where the braid ends, and let your hair soak for as long as you can, Then when your hair drys try coconut oil.. It will help loosen the braids

Left my braids(weave) in too long, my hair has locked?

I do this alllllll the time. It's a beast but Don't worry..you don't have to cut out your hair. You just have to really take your time and be careful. Go to Sally's Beauty Supply or Target or similar and get yourself a cheap bottle of frizz-ease or some other frizz serum (it makes the hair really slippery so it's easier to detangle---you know, like putting Crisco under your finger when a ring gets stuck?) Then get something with a smooth, fine pointy tip (i like to use a knitting needle/ i'd use a bobby pin--but make sure it's coated, or maybe a pen in a pinch--but just look around and see what you have.) Then work the tangles out from the very bottom of the knot and work your way to the root. Make sure you DON'T START FROM THE ROOT or you'll break out too much hair. Then just get real comfy in front of a good movie and go to work ....slowly. On particularyly bad knots, i'll even just pull 2 or three hairs out from the knot at a time. It takes forever (i took about 8 hours to take out my braids the other day---which is about twice as long as it took to put them in....but the extra time was worth it to avoid breaking out too much of my hair.)

Left my braids(weave) in too long, my hair has locked?

Leave a detangling conditioner on your hair for a few hours. Use a small tooth comb and gently untangle your hair going from the scalp to the ends.

What is a hair weave?

A hair weave is nothing more than hair that can either be glued or sewned in. A hair weave is a great thing to have. You may want some length or even give you own hair a break for the daily routine.

What is a hair weave?

Hair weaves are a form of hair extensions. Hair weaves can either enhance a hairstyle or give a completely different look.

What is a hair weave?

weave is just synthetic or human hair thats added in your hair and its popular now these days!

Besides sewing and bond what are some others types of hair weaves ?

I already know the basic hair weaves such as bond, infuision, and sewing. I would like to try something different with my hair, a different kind of weave.

Besides sewing and bond what are some others types of hair weaves ?

have you tried bonding the hair on a stocking cap, while on your head and getting it styled that way. I'm from Baltimore, and moved to Georgia, Douglasville, that is. And down here no one can do a lick of hair. My sister and I have to go to college park at the flea market, well they call it a discount mall, to get our hair done, like we use to wear it up there. The girl calls it a quick weave, and I tell you I love it. Now I use to make my own in B-more, and then take them off at night before I went to bed. But now I just keep it on, and call it a day. I wear short, long, ponytails, mohawks, you name it.

Gurl we all kno that celebraties do not always wear their REAL hair instead it weave ! and 2 answer your question Alicia Keys hair is FAKE ! Because her hair is forever differnt lengeths ever time she is on tv !

Is That Alicia Keys Real Hair? Or Is It Weave?

Her being bi-racial has nothing to do with the length of her hair...she wears extenstions, just like all other celebrities.

Is That Alicia Keys Real Hair? Or Is It Weave?

real she's mixed

Is That Alicia Keys Real Hair? Or Is It Weave?

THATS HER REAL HAIR. THERE MAY BE NO MORE THAN 2 TRACKS OF WEAVE IF AT ALL BUT THAT'S HER HAIR.

Is That Alicia Keys Real Hair? Or Is It Weave?

For the most part that is all of her hair. hse might have a track or 2 in there to make it appear fuller sometimes when she's doing performances. Aaliyah used to do the same thing.

閳?br>Is That Alicia Keys Real Hair? Or Is It Weave?

Thats weave hair girl.

Is That Alicia Keys Real Hair? Or Is It Weave?

yes alicia keys has real hair. SHe sometimes wears extensions...keyword(sometimes) but in videos such as (How come you don't call me,) Usher's (my boo) and her new video for (Like you'll neva see me again.) You can capture alicias real hair. Espicially in the last video I mentioned where u can see the length. Plus her hair is really curly so when naturally curly hair gets dry it shrinks and makes your hair look shorter than what it really is

Is That Alicia Keys Real Hair? Or Is It Weave?

its her real hair.... even if she MIGHT have bought it that would be her hair because she bought it ... like if you buy a cell phone its YOUR cell phone right so yes its HER hair!!!

Whats the difference between hair extensions and a weave?

weave is an example of hair extension. weave increases hair length and thickness while extensions increase the length only

Whats betterr to get? hair extensions or a weave?

just wondering.. :]

x

Whats betterr to get? hair extensions or a weave?

it really depends on how long your are planning to keep them in your head. If for just a week or two, then a weave. if for a month or longer, extensions. there are different ways to put them in so talk to several different hair stylist to see what is better for you. there is one way called "fusion". it works really well and can stay in for up to six months with proper care but it is known to take your hair out because the adhesive and the adhesive removers are so harsh.

Whats betterr to get? hair extensions or a weave?

extensions

Whats betterr to get? hair extensions or a weave?

extentions..

weaves are itchy

Whats betterr to get? hair extensions or a weave?

Neither, just grow your own damn hair!!

Whats betterr to get? hair extensions or a weave?

definitely extensions...

Whats betterr to get? hair extensions or a weave?

Um, actually people who are saying extensions, you do realize extensions %26amp; weave are the SAME thing. Weave is just a SLANG term for extensions. So it wouldn't matter.

I was wondering should I get a perm(african american hair) befor getting hair weave sewed in?

Trying to find the best way to get hair sewed in that will last for a while.

I was wondering should I get a perm(african american hair) befor getting hair weave sewed in?

No don't get the relaxer then have it sewn in...it will break off terribly...get your relaxer and wait atleast 2 weeks before you get the weave in!

I was wondering should I get a perm(african american hair) befor getting hair weave sewed in?

I wouldn't get a perm first...it weakens your hair

How much money does it cost to get a hair weave?

the kind where you only put a corn row on the bottom and sew in extentions. [not a whole head of fake hair]

How much money does it cost to get a hair weave?

One layer wont look good, your best bet is go to sallys and see what they have I got 16 inch hair extentions for 35 dollars. You should glue them in and do layers to make it actually look real, Getting it weaved or sewn in hurts like a MOFO!! And it takes a lot of time! If you glue them in, they last for a few weeks and you can always take them out with conditiner if you're worried about the glue saying in your hair you can leave conditioner in your hair for an hour or two and then wash it out and all of the glue will be gone.

How much money does it cost to get a hair weave?

It costs quite a bit. The weave doesnt cost a lot, but to get it sewn in people usually charge a LOT. Just look how to do it online or find someone who knows how to do it. Dont go to a hair dresser!

Where can I buy hair wigs/hair extensions/hair weave like the stars such as Tyra Bank wears?

Beauty Supply Stores, just make sure that the hair you buy is real Human hair. The wax is expensive, but should last for maybe two applications. It is easier if you dip the end of the hair into the hot glue and then attach to your hair, less burning of the fingers and a much neater job...

You will have some loss when you shampoo, a good application and a lot of care on your part and it could last a while.

Where can I buy hair wigs/hair extensions/hair weave like the stars such as Tyra Bank wears?

Go to LA with several thousand dollars in hand.

Where can I buy hair wigs/hair extensions/hair weave like the stars such as Tyra Bank wears?

well you can go to any store like zellars and places where you can buy hair products they will have wigs, hair extensions..e.t.c..

Where can I buy hair wigs/hair extensions/hair weave like the stars such as Tyra Bank wears?

Tyra probably wears that weave like those other stars wear that costs about $800 a track. Trya is probably cheap just like her mama said. She said that Tyra doesn't even wear real diamonds. you can save money by going to your nearest beauty supply store and if you get somebody that knows how to do hair it will look like your real hair. if ur tracks be showing after they've finished ur hair they didn't do a good job u shouldn't pay them.

Where can I buy hair wigs/hair extensions/hair weave like the stars such as Tyra Bank wears?

Look up lace front custom wigs on ebay. Lace front custom wigs are the latest thing a lot of celebrities have been wearing from some time. they range from $200-$5000.

Is there a wrong way to do hair weaving by braiding?

i had my sister weave my hair by cornrowing my real hair than sewing in the weave, i was wondering if there was a certain way that the weave can be put in to damage my real hair

Is there a wrong way to do hair weaving by braiding?

Nope. Braids don't damage the hair unless their too tight. The only way you could truly damage yours is to use synthetic hair. That stuff will cut your hair to shreds. Use 100% human hair if you don't already.

What kind of hair weave does tyra banks have. where can i get one and are they expensive?

She wears a wig. No lie, she said it herself. It looks natural because a flesh-toned flap is attached to the front on the wig and lays over the top of her forehead extending no longer than about half an inch from her real hairline. The wig is put on the head and then the flap is glued on using an adhesive. They then use foundation to cover the flap. Those types of wigs are custom made to fit a clients head and cost hundreds of dollars.

What kind of hair weave does tyra banks have. where can i get one and are they expensive?

I love her hair too! It's gourgus! ?But I don't know where you live soo I cant really tell you and also I don't know %26lt;: )

But thanks for the 2 points anyway.

What kind of hair weave does tyra banks have. where can i get one and are they expensive?

I Just got my hair done yesterday. Me and my stylist were tlakin about her weave. Its called a "lace wig" beyonce and oprah wear them to. If your thinking about getting one you should also consider getting hair locs this new way of weaving without using chemicals or heat (not fusion)

P.S they run usually about 1,500-2,000. beyonce and tyra and them pay about 5,000 per wig

Should i get hair weave...im white?

Of course you should.

Should i get hair weave...im white?

WHAT pray tell does being white have to do with getting a hair weave or do you really think all those so-called stars have long and flowing gorgeous hair naturally?

Should i get hair weave...im white?

No

Should i get hair weave...im white?

If your talking about extensions, im recommend that you dont. Glueing or sewing anything into your hair is not good for your real hair's health and growth. I had extensions, you have to superglue them onto your scalp. They look cute for awhile but they start to fall out within 2-3 weeks. They are very painful to take out and you most likely will lose some of your real hair. I think you should just let your hair grow out the natural way, even if it takes awhile.

Should i get hair weave...im white?

im 20 yrs old and i dont have a weave but i have ethnic curly hair and alot of people think my hair is a weave. I see no problem with you getting it done as long as you dont have white people do it. They do not specialize in weaving. I would have an ethnic salon do mine and im white. They are very good with hair.hope i helped!

Should i get hair weave...im white?

do u want a weave or extensions???

the procedures are totally different....if you have straight hair, extensions may look more natural...

but if u want some more length, go for it

Should i get hair weave...im white?

I had a weave put in once....NEVER AGAIN. I had mine sewn into my hair, and it lasted about 3 days before I had to cut it out. The problem I had was it didn't look as silky as my own hair after washing, and shampoo would get stuck in the braids and making my head itch and itch. If you are thinking about longer hair, go for extensions, I would recommend getting clip in ones. ( they do not damage your hair) Bohyme Remi is 100% human hair and is of the highest quality you can get.

Should i get hair weave...im white?

I'm a white girl...I got extensions last year and I loved 'em! I had four rows sewn in by my black girlfriend's hairdresser...Hersha...SHE knew what she was doin'.

Anyway...

I wouldn't recommend getting the indvidually glued in strands because when they grow out...you can see the glue areas and since you already have healthy hair, the glue could damage your hair and break it off. I wouldn't recommend the glue-in weaves, like some girl mentioned, either. You go to an ethnic salon, ask for a few rows for length, and they sew them in. Getting your hair braided in a FEW spots isn't going to ruin your hair. People who get their hair braided ALL THE TIME eventually have brittle hair and bald spots...trying it once won't do that.

When I got my partial weave taken out, the hair was so healthy...it hadn't been exposed to products...and it was longer without me noticing that it was even short to begin with. I made the mistake of chopping off my hair once and that's why I got a weave.

If you pour in your shampoo, yeah it's gonna itch...but your hair would itch even withOUT a weave if you left shampoo in your hair. So that's irrelevant. Make sure to get some oil products because fake hair won't have natural oils because, hey, it's not attached to your head.

There is a cardinal rule, and that's frequency of washing your hair. I washed my hair every few days and that still caused some problems because there's no natural oils in your hair to keep your hair from knotting up. So, when the fake hair gets wet, it can get into a knot. The more you get your hair wet, the more it'll tend to knot up, post shower.

Also, watch how you brush. If you brush too hard over the cornrows, you risk pulling the thread that holds the weave in place and then it'll become loose.

Don't listen to these other white girls who had a bad experience...and it doesn't damage your hair. Getting your hair colored or highlighted is FAR worse than a few braids every once in a while.

And the glory of partial weaves is that your hair is mainly what shows, because partial weaves are usually to lengthen so it's on the back side of your head. The other good thing about weaves compared to glue on extensions is that you can go in every three weeks to tighten up the thread and they'll be like new. Definately ask the person who is going to be doing it what hair they recommend. European hair is usually a lot smoother, silkier, but it's a little more money.

Hope that helps. I'm down for any girl getting extensions. If you can buy it...go for it! That's what I say.

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue

Well, how bad does your hair look? If you "feel ashamed to be seen in public because of what this glue has done to your hair" then you could probably call a lawyer and get some money.

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

Probably. If it is, in fact, hair glue, and you have SOLID evidence for the falling-out of your hair, you may sue the glue company for as much as an attorney feels necessary.

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

Nope

You can not sue the glue company... You got to let your hair grow back out.

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

Hells yeah sista!

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

Probably so, seems every one is trying to sue for something now-a-days, see if you can find a lawyer that will take your case. Make sure you have proof and that you followed the instructions to the letter......

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

no---you cannot sue the glue company---due to the fact that you didn't need to use that glue---they can say u didn't put the glue on correctly and because of that--you damaged your hair--or that the beautician who applied the glue for your weave messed up----QUICK TIP --- TRY USING A SEWN IN WEAVE----ITS BETTER FOR YOUR OWN HAIR BECAUSE THEY BRAID YOUR HAIR IN VERY THIN AND FLAT BRAIDS---AND THEN SEW IN THE WEAVE TO YOUR BRAID..... or---just give the weaves a rest for a LITLE while until your hair gets its strength back and use alto of deep conditioners(DOMINICAN CONDITIONERS ARE ALWAYS GREAT TO USE). TRY GOING TO THE DOOBIE SPOT---HAVE THEM TRIM YOUR HAIR---AND LET YOUR HAIR BREATHE----BEST WISHES--AND GOOD LUCK

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

no you cant sue now if someone Else but hair glue in your hair then you take a picture of your hair when it fall out then take another picture when your hair grew

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

nope because you chose to use that and everybody knows that glue takes your hair out

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

actual hair glue.

Yes you could but you'd have to have fabulous documentation.

Going to cost some money.

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

do not use hair glue.

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

Not sure about the law suit, but honey you really shouldn't use the bonding anymore, especially if you already have a nice length of hair. Next time I recommend you get your hair braided and weaved, it last longer and your hair is subjected to the glue( which pulls too much hair out when you're taking it out). Not to mention the fact that the braids will help your natural hair to grow and you won't need a relaxer as often. Good luck, and be careful.

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

No i don't think thats a good idea because the best way for you to take glued tracks out of your hair will be to wash them out with lots of shampoo.

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

how did the glue take your hair out what steps did you take on putting your hair and taking out ?i do know if you try weaving your own hair it is possible for you to get clue on your own hair because some areas of your head you cant see.and removing the weave what works for that is glue removal work very well.

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

no , you put it in !!!!

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

If you put the weaves in yourself...no ...They could always say you didnt properly put it in. Also you will have hair loss anytime you do anything like this to your hair. Some peoples hair just cant take this. Sorry Now if a hairstylist did it for you then you could ask for your money back or have them repair your hair.....but i would ask for another stylist if she didnt properly put your weaves in

I use hair glue to put a weave in my hair and all of my mid-length hair fall out,can i sue the glue company?

No. You shouldn't have pulled it out. You have to use hair grease and slide it out. It's not the glue's fault, it's yours.

How do use bonding glue when trying to put in weave in your hair?

I do not suggest you try to weave your own hair with bonding glue. I would suggest going to a professional, if you get the glue on your hair, and not the root area, you will have to cut it off. You will just make a big mess and you will end up with a G.I Jane haircut.

How do use bonding glue when trying to put in weave in your hair?

Ask your mom

How do use bonding glue when trying to put in weave in your hair?

well from what i see, cos i don't use. the hair and scalp have to be clean. the hair is parted where the extension or weave is to be placed, the glue is placed along the rib of the weave (the part where the hair is stitched together) and placed along the part in the hair, and held down. it helps to use a blow dryer on low-med along the glued area. then that's it. the bad part is getting it out. if ur making a full head wig from it make sure to wrap the hair on your head with newspaper before puuting on the weave netting and glueing the hair onto it, trust me i've seen it go bad!!! if u get it on ur hair use some hair oil to rub the glue leave for a while then gently comb it out, plus there's chemicals made for glue removal.

How do use bonding glue when trying to put in weave in your hair?

If you really love your hair, i would best say to get the weave sewn in cause when you put the glue in your hair it will damage it, plus when taking it out, you will have hell getting the glue out. Trust me, buy a cap or get it sewn in if you dont want to lose your real hair.

How do use bonding glue when trying to put in weave in your hair?

i kno how cuz i do it and i cant explain it online i would suggest asking ur hairstylists. u hav 2 bond the glue on ur scalp but part it first then put the glue on the scalp and add the weave

How do use bonding glue when trying to put in weave in your hair?

First, part you hair. Next, measure the weave against your part %26amp; cut the weave to size. Then, lay the track of hair down on a flat surface, and then squeeze the glue out on the top of the track (where it has been sewn together) from one side to the other. Be sure not to use too much glue, or it will drip onto the hair itself when you pick it up. Then apply to your scalp where you made the part and press down until it is secure to your scalp. (This can be tricky doing the back of your hair if you have not done it before, so you might ask a friend for help.) Some people like to use a blow dryer to make it dry faster and keep it more secure.

Continue row by row until you are done.

* Remember to use Bond Remover when you take your weave out!*

Good luck, hope it looks fabulous!

How do use bonding glue when trying to put in weave in your hair?

You use hair glue remover to take out the glued in extensions.

Because if you take it out with out the remover it will leave you with chunky black stuff like plastics in your hair.

Hair Weaves..PLEASSE HELP ME ! I'm in a Hair MESS !!?

Someone please help!

I bleach my hair blonde, %26amp; I've been getting hair weaves a lot for the last year or so. I keep them in a for about a month or so w. a month's break in between weaves,

My hair's short. Its shorter on top, about 3 inchs, longer on bottom, about 6 inches

the longest layers i have are 6 inches.but somehow my weaves have always blended well.

I want 2 get another weave soon. BUT..something bad happened the other day. I bleached my hair cuz roots wre comin in. and the layers on the crown of my head that WERE about 3 inches...BROKE right off %26amp; are now an INCH long!

Are there any types of weaves I can get that would blend with this? or is it a lost cause? The usual type of weave I get is just 4 or 5 horizontal tracks. then the rest of my natural hair is left out to blend w. the weave

but I've seen these kinds of weave where ALL the natural hair is braided in circular pattern and then weave is sewn onto that. what is that called ? would that work for my hair ?

THANX !!

Hair Weaves..PLEASSE HELP ME ! I'm in a Hair MESS !!?

If your hair has broken right off " the sewed in weave" would be great for you. Make sure you go to a professional so they well know what is best for your hair. What they will do is oil your scalp really good braid your natural hair or add weave t braid your hair, and take a yarn and hair thred and sew the weave on to your braided hair. this should last 2-3 months depending on how well you keep your hair up. With a sew in you can come back every 2 wekks or whenever you want for them to touch it up, like washing it, oiling your scalp conditioning it, and re curling it. For your blonde hair the beauty supply store any one black or white beauty supply store and mach up the hair that best matches your hair. Make sure you get human hair so that way your hair underneath can breathe and the hair wont be as irritated. if you get synthetic after a while it starts to look like barbie doll haor and that itches so bad, and you cant apply any heat to it. i hope this answered your question!!!

Hair Weaves..PLEASSE HELP ME ! I'm in a Hair MESS !!?

I had the weave where my hair stylist braided my hair and then sewed it into my real hair. I don't know the name for it but I liked it because my hair grew tremendously from it. I would go to a hair salon and ask their opinion. Your hair sounds quite damaged. I would just get a style (even if that means I have to cut all of my hair to make it work) and just leave it alone. Go to a salon though for professional information.

Hair Weaves..PLEASSE HELP ME ! I'm in a Hair MESS !!?

Frist do you get your hair layer? If so then your hair will never be the same lenth all over. If you do get it layer they can add extection to your hair, but they would have to add them one by one a lot of work to make them blind/mix in. Do you die %26amp; do your hair yourself?? If you pull your hair up in tony tails at nite it will pull on the hair makeing the blood flow greater %26amp; can make your hair grow faster. You need to use good stuff to make your hair healthy so it growes faster... Good Luck!!!

Hair Weaves..PLEASSE HELP ME ! I'm in a Hair MESS !!?

FIRST!!! If you are experiencing hair damage, I would advise, no demand that you repair the damage you have to your hair before you put anymore stress on your hair. Braiding will pull and can cause traction alopecia, and this breakage usually does not grow back. I don't advise you to braid and sew bleached hair at all.

SECOND!!! You should get Redken CAT treatment shampoo and conditioner, this will alleviate the breakage you have. You should also give your hair a rest as you don't want to damage your real hair. YOUR hair should be your first priority...

I hope this helps!! Good luck!

Stiff hair weaves....why?

Do black women hang onto their weaves until the new (natural) growth is practically pushing it off of their heads. It really ain't cool (and this is coming from a fellow black woman!!!) Hasn't anyone informed you that grainy nats and silky tresses don't match and looks downright disgraceful??????

And before you start I wear my hair in a kick-*** afro - the shame of being seen in a weave would kill me!!!!

Stiff hair weaves....why?

I've got to agree, black women look beautiful with big curly hair, the natural way is best.

Stiff hair weaves....why?

ngfgfnfgsn

Stiff hair weaves....why?

I agree

Stiff hair weaves....why?

I've seen that alot even with women who aren't black, and also with people who dye their hair dark or light and their roots grow in. It drives me nuts!

Stiff hair weaves....why?

Ah feel you on that... Wy cant a women just be natural be who you really are. The weave thing aint even cute for some people and it makes no sense at all how girls choose to wear it till its crusty, dry, and nappy. What sense does that make when you could just let yo scalp breath and grow some hair..

Stiff hair weaves....why?

well, its because they are too cheap to buy the nice expensive hair (35 a pk and up) therefore making their weave look bad. some of them probably did the weave theirself so thats why it looks the way it do,but still dosent explain why they dont take it out when its needs to be (due to all the money the saved from going to a professional). there is nothing wrong with wearing a weave.......as long as its the right hair and put in the right way! going natural is ur preferance just as wearing a weave is theirs.

Stiff hair weaves....why?

Well I agree natural is always best.

Whats a hair weave?

when you get hair woven, sewed, or braided into your hair (extensions)

Whats a hair weave?

A Hair Weave is when you get extensions added to your hair. Many celebs and Everyday people use them to add length or body to their hair. It can be Braids, Sewn-In, or array of other styles.

Whats a hair weave?

Hair weave is can be either synthetic or real.

You buy it from various beauty stores to change your hairstyle. It is sewn in or braided into tracks in your hair. It must be placed inside the hair so it is not so obvious.

You see hair weave everywhere.

Whats a hair weave?

Hair weaves are commonly known as "hair extensions". They are used to make hair seem longer. It can either be synthetic hair or natural hair. Putting it in is usually by gluing or sewing it to your head. But if people want removable hair extensions, they buy clip-ons (Jessica Simpson and her hair stylist Ken Paves is known for having a brand of hair extension clip-ons called 'Hairdo'). Hair weaves also can make hair not only ave the illusion that it is longer, but thicker, too. Hair extensions or hair weaves usually cost a lot of money, ranging from $100-$900, depending on how the salon is.

People that are known for wearing hair weaves/hair extensions/clip ons are Jessica Simpson, Tyra Banks, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Ashley Tisdale, and Vanessa Hudgens.

Where Can I Buy Hair Weaves??

i want my hair short (shoulder length)

with long weaves underneath that go over my chest to my waste where can i buy some hair weaves??

please help....

Where Can I Buy Hair Weaves??

there are plenty of Korean shops on every, or every other, street corner in the ghetto if you live in a large metropolitan area. most of them sell a mash up of clothing, overpriced but hard to find, (extremely hard to find) hair products, and weaves. if you're really lucky they'll sell mix tapes in there, lol.

or you can find them online.

Where Can I Buy Hair Weaves??

you can buy hairweave at most beauty shops what you can do is look in your local phone book and look up beauty shops and call around to see who sell hair weave explain to them what you are looking for and they should be able to help you

Where Can I Buy Hair Weaves??

that place on the corner where all the hobos live and eat out of the trashcans. Oh wait! thats my butt!

How do you keep sewn in weave tracks from showing in the front of the head with ALL natural hair cor

Which cornrow pattern is best for a long layered sewn in weave to keep the tracks from showing after braiding ALL natural hair?

How do you keep sewn in weave tracks from showing in the front of the head with ALL natural hair cornrowed?

You want to do a circular pattern that goes around your head, and avoid starting any braids from the front of your head. Then you'll want to sew in the weave in a way that will allow you to have a bang.

You can also leave out some of your hair in the front, and cornrow the rest. Once you sew in the tracks, you can just blend the loose hair in with the weave. You may have to flat-iron it to make is smooth. That was you won't have to have a bang.

Good luck!

How do you keep sewn in weave tracks from showing in the front of the head with ALL natural hair cornrowed?

they would have to sew the hair in or do the cornrows so that the hair covers it(ie side swept bangs and such)

btw a curly weave would conceal it more than straight one

What is the best hair to use for curly weave to make it look natural?

Been wanting a curly hair style like some of the video girls are wearing now a days. Somthing that looks like naturaly curly hair. Like Kelis.

What is the best hair to use for curly weave to make it look natural?

I have read to use hot curlers. What I have used is a regular curling iron and if you buy metal clips the ones that pinch and the end and open up. for about 5 min it will hold the curl in all day. and both of these give a natural look.

What is the best hair to use for curly weave to make it look natural?

Milky way has some nice Curly weave.

FLAVA FLAV

Hair weaves.?

I'm getting a full head weave, %26amp;%26amp; I was just wondering how do you avoid it looking really puffy %26amp;%26amp; oversized??[I'm 15]

Also, I was wondering what type of hair I should get? [I know I should get human hair]

I want it very silky %26amp;%26amp; nice, so what's a good brand?

Hair weaves.?

Well it all depends on the shape of your head, the length of your hair, the type or grade of hair you have and the style you are going for...How long is your real hair? You want to get something that is really easy to manage...If you can really curl hair get some gradual layers or get layers like a few in the top......If you have extremely short hair then go for a short bob..I think human hair is the best but it can be really expensive.....You really need to be extremely careful because some fake hair can cause fungus...YES IT CAN. They had a special on tv about it...Do your research. If you have had braids before then you should be ok.....Whatever you do make sure you don't have an allergic reaction to the hair...well its the chemicals that are on the fake hair......Overall, I think since it is about to get hot less is more....Go online and look for some cute styles. Look at the hair books in Wal-mart and Books - a- Million.....I mean get something that goes with your face too......

Hair weaves.?

tell your stylist to split the track in half

Hair weaves.?

Beverly Johnson

Hair weaves.?

best hair (newyork yaky) it will cost you more but it want tangle or nap up ,also it not processed so it will last longer

Get Yaki. Premium Remi Silky. All weaves from the Yaki line are good.

Do white women use glue to bond the weave in their hair?

Yes! White people began wearing weaves before blacks, contrary to popular belief. My sister does hair and quite a few whites have come for weave jobs both bonded and sew ins.

Do white women use glue to bond the weave in their hair?

no.... i don't know about other ppl but i don't

Do white women use glue to bond the weave in their hair?

i hope not it sounds painful.

Do white women use glue to bond the weave in their hair?

most white women i know have never had a weave, so i don't know.

Do white women use glue to bond the weave in their hair?

Yes, white women use bonding glue on their hair. Plenty of stars uses it on their hair. It's convenient and quick because it dries in minutes. Clip ons and bonding techniques are more common for Caucasian women. Women of color prefer sewing because it lasts longer.

Do white women use glue to bond the weave in their hair?

yes sometime but when they shampoo everyday its going to come out

Do white women use glue to bond the weave in their hair?

for white people their exstensions not a weave. and we get it sewed on to ur real hair

Do white women use glue to bond the weave in their hair?

Well i don't. I just use some gel or a curling iron

Hair weaves obviously look "unbe-weavable_ unbelivable so why waste the money? does anyone else

Hair weave=bad

real hair= (even if short) looks better

"yes" or "no"? The real world speaks!

Hair weaves obviously look "unbe-weavable_ unbelivable so why waste the money? does anyone else agree it looks

I agree....I'd much rather date a balding man then a man with a weave!

btw, cute word play :)

Hair weaves obviously look "unbe-weavable_ unbelivable so why waste the money? does anyone else agree it looks

The world is going crazy with hair weaves trying to look like Hollywood girls and they just cant. I think real hair looks so much better than the obviously cheap imitation hair with pieces that look like straw hanging all over the place.

Hair weaves obviously look "unbe-weavable_ unbelivable so why waste the money? does anyone else agree it looks

Yeah i agree. Some weave jobs do look natural but i think that it would be good just to be yourself.

Hair weaves obviously look "unbe-weavable_ unbelivable so why waste the money? does anyone else agree it looks

If it's a quality weave, you cant tell.

Hair weaves obviously look "unbe-weavable_ unbelivable so why waste the money? does anyone else agree it looks

i used to wear weave, and i had lengthy hair. I wore it because the thickness %26amp; body it gave me was something I didnt get with my own hair.

%26amp; I have alot of friends that wear weaves, from models to dancers; %26amp; yes it looks much, much better. Weaves are a lifesaver for many, many women, and im sure you know more than a couple of girls who wear weaves and you dont even realize it. Natural looking is key, if your tracks are showing, yes you are doing a disservice to yourself.

Hair weaves obviously look "unbe-weavable_ unbelivable so why waste the money? does anyone else agree it looks

some weaves look really good, but they are way way expensive. but you pay for what you get, and you can tell the difference between a cheap weave and a fake weave.

Hair weaves obviously look "unbe-weavable_ unbelivable so why waste the money? does anyone else agree it looks

i had a weave in my hair and ppl thought it was my hair. thie thing is ppl don't know how to match the color and texture of the weave to their own hair. they always get weaves that look fake. the point of getting a weave its to make it look like urs. but ppl just get weaves and don't get the right texture or color. sad i kno. hopei could help!

Hair weaves obviously look "unbe-weavable_ unbelivable so why waste the money? does anyone else agree it looks

sometimes a weave looks better than natural hair, and half the time people don't even notice you have a weave if its in good.so dont hate on the hair weave.and what chick is gonna walk around bald after a accident or whatever made her that way.you gonna get yo self a weave.lets keep it real!!!

Hair weaves obviously look "unbe-weavable_ unbelivable so why waste the money? does anyone else agree it looks

I agree most of the time they look terrible (even on celebs i.e. Beyonce, Mya from Girlfriends). But when you get them done correctly and precisely then they look pretty good, but people forget that it's not theirs and don't want to take it out and it starts to look real greasy and old. So it can be done really nicely, but people need to stop doing it at home w/ glue. Horrible.

Hair weaves obviously look "unbe-weavable_ unbelivable so why waste the money? does anyone else agree it looks

i believe if you pay the really big bucks, you can get the "natural" look. but who can afford it. i love natural hair. theres nothing like the feel of it when you run your fingers through it!! and its easier to stlye!!! no extra little kinks

Hair weaves obviously look "unbe-weavable_ unbelivable so why waste the money? does anyone else agree it looks

That's been my motto. Why do the women do this? One day have one inch of hair and tomorrow 3 feet of hair and a different grade of hair from their own natural? I believe your own hair that you were born with is the only way to go.

Hair weaves obviously look "unbe-weavable_ unbelivable so why waste the money? does anyone else agree it looks

You can't even tell i have a weave unless you are family. My hair looks so natural, unless you tried to run your fingers through it, you wouldn't even know. don't even try it, there are good weaves and bad weaves, evidently you haven't seen a good weave yet, for all you know your girl probably has a weave, clip on and she probably takes them out at night, u just don't know. if someone has gone through cancer treatments and they have no hair what are they supposed to do. Be bald and happy . Be a complete outcast! no, my hair is not the length i want and darn it, my weave looks better than my real hair!

Hair weaves obviously look "unbe-weavable_ unbelivable so why waste the money? does anyone else agree it looks

THEY LOOK

GOOD!

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

http://www.myindianhair.com/i/1a1a1a1a1a...

http://www.myindianhair.com/i/hair/ciara...

http://www.agapecollection.com/blk%20and...

Why or why not?

Again: this is a question post, not an opinion.

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

in a way yes it is because you are somewhat decieving other people of what your "real" hair looks like. i also have to say no because people like to change their look from time to time and doing all that to your hair can cause it to break or be severly damaged. also some people who wear weaves they might have a health problem ( cancer patient, ..etc) and want to go around and be normal for a change instead of explainig it to people.

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

Of course not, how is it lying to yourself?

I love how it looks.

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

I think it's a hairstyle, and its wearer's motives are not my business.

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

No, its just a hairstyle.

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

no. and knowing that you already know that you are wearing weave, you cant be lieing to yourself.

weave just makes your hair cooler to me

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

I think we do things as a society that make us "blend in" or "stick out" as we see fit. Makeup, hairstyles, curlers, straighteners, Spanx, hair dye, etc.. are all a form of deception, if you care to look at it that way. Who cares? If it makes you feel beautiful I say "Do it!" Life is too short to move through it uncomfortable in your own appearance and if any of the above listed things make you feel better - go for it!!!

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

Hair weaves are hot. We all want to experiment and look whoever we want. Hair weaves I say don't necessarily cause a woman to "lie" bout her race? More so, it's b/c she loves herself enough to go thru that.

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

Hair weaves like ribbons bows Mohawks spikes piercings etc are nothing more than fashion accessories. The whole point is to enhance your appearance, try out an interesting new style with out over processing or damaging the hair. Hair weaves are just that a hairstyle or accessory not a creed, motto, religious statement, hair doesn't tell lies. Don't take things out of context you will make life limited for yourself. The whole world understands weaves and extensions are regularly worn by people of certain cultures and are not confused or mislead by it at all. Look up the worlds history of wearing wigs and hair pieces.

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

those women on those pictures should wear their hair natural once in a while. Everytime i see beyonce on tv or whatever she has a blonde weave. It's a shame since i know many beautiful black women with natural hair.

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

You do realize that white women wear hair weave as well. Oh wait! They call it hair extensions so that makes it different and better right?

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

Your thinking to deeply into this. It's just a hair style.

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

no.its just another different thing to do with your hair

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

no more than wearing makeup...

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

please were is jessica simpson and paris hilton because those ********* e s were weaves too. no i dont think its lying because everyone knows its a weave. beyonce looks pretty in that picture !!!

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

Well, in the past. I had a really hard time with my hair. Im caucasian but my hair was like african american hair, and so people made fun of me and stuff. Now its better, because chemicals were put in it, so whatever works for you is fine. It has nothing to do with your character...

I love Beyonce and Ciara by the way---just NOT Mariah carey...long story ;-)

Do you think that wearing HAIR WEAVE most of the time is a form of lying to yourself and others?

Don't hate cause you can't participate they cost about $1,500 it's a form of having fun and feeling pretty.

Thinning hair after weave removed?

my hair had medium thickness before I started getting weaves. I got weaves back to back for nearly a year and inbetween weaves I would get a relaxer. Now that I have decided to remove the weave I have noticed that my hair is very fine. It looks like I have a lot of hair coming from my scalp but it's just all very thin. Now the last couple of times I also burned my scalp with my lye relaxer. Could this thinning be from the weave or from the lye relaxer. I don't plan on getting anymore weaves and I'm praying that my hair will thicken up in about a month. Has anyone else experienced a problem like mine... if so what happened in your scenerio?

Thinning hair after weave removed?

It could have been a combination of things. Weaves, especially sewn in weaves can be kind of damaging. Black hair was not meant to continuously go through weaves, your hair needs a break from it every now and then. You need to give your hair a rest from all the stuff you've been doing to it. Hold off on using the relaxers and see if you can start using some styles that require little maintenance. I had a sewn in weave myself and my hair came out just like what you are describing. I had really thick hair but it started to thin out after taking the weave out. I had to take really good care of it to get it back to what it used to be. I deep conditioned it every week and started using pin on hair pieces for a low maintenance hairstyle that didn't involve me constantly combing, brushing and using heat in my hair. Luckily, my hair went back to what it used to be. Good luck with your hair and I'm sorry that you are going through this.

Thinning hair after weave removed?

It could be because of both. You can get hair loss from the weave pulling on your hair constantly and the chemicals in the relaxer. I think you should go natural for a while to let your hair and scalp rest.

Thinning hair after weave removed?

dont use anything like that, just wash your hair, pat it with a towel, blow dry and ur done... the stuff ur using damages ur hair, if u want ur hair thicker go to a nutrients store and ask them for hair thinning pills..

Thinning hair after weave removed?

This is a common problem with hair weaves. Its because when your hair is in a weave there is very little oxygen getting to your hair. Less oxygen means less fullness. You should give your hair a bit of a break between weaves, give your hair time to breathe so to speak :p

What is the BEST hair to use for weave?? I mean the kind that gets wavy or curly when wet and wont m

I need something that will last long and acts like REAL human hair!

What is the BEST hair to use for weave?? I mean the kind that gets wavy or curly when wet and wont matte?

Human hair is the best option because it can be washed and you can get more wear out of it. Synthetic hair looks FAKE.

The hair that you are looking for is called "Wet N Wavy"

My best friend uses this type of hair for her braids and it looks nice. Hair Supply stores usually have packs of hair up on the wall.

**Check out hair magazines to see waht brands are human or check on line.**

What is the BEST hair to use for weave?? I mean the kind that gets wavy or curly when wet and wont matte?

You can use this new type of synthetic hair that is almost exactly like human hair (you can flat iron it, wash it curl it.) I'm not sure of the brand but if you go to any black hair store they should have whatever coulr you would like.

What is the BEST hair to use for weave?? I mean the kind that gets wavy or curly when wet and wont matte?

well if u want to use ur real hair then when u wash it dry some of ur hair and mostly leave ur hair damp and pull ur hair up in a bun and when u wake up pull it out and u should have wavy and curly hair. it worked for me and a girl on here

What is the BEST hair to use for weave?? I mean the kind that gets wavy or curly when wet and wont matte?

Yaki human hair

What is the best type of hair weave for an black women?

I have tried the 100% human hair but there are several different types and non match my actual hair. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to try.

What is the best type of hair weave for an black women?

if you do himan hair try yaki hair, it closer to a relaxed black hair texture

What is the best type of hair weave for an black women?

hello I have been reading blackhairmedia forum. Very good. Most people in the uk dont want to spend the money for a good weave but if you do everyone is raving about extensions plus as it gives the appearance of just relaxed hair instead of shine. Look at the us sites. Nature girl is another, but these are expensive. One less expensive is one called wagman the body wave doesnt look too bad. The good thing about these is they dont shed and you can re-use. Hope this helps as those in the uk are terrible. Some of the indian sites can give a duller hair appearance and is cheaper still

What is the best type of hair weave for an black women?

Stay away from weaves. They will damage your hair. Just take better care of your own hair and it will grow.

Can you put highlights on hair weave tracks???????????

No. Dont do this it will just fry the hair.

You can buy weaves' that look like they have highlights in it.

Can you put highlights on hair weave tracks???????????

yes you can only if the hair is human hair.

synthetic hair will be come course and unmanageable. to test simply take a lighter to one strand of hair. if the hair doesnt burn and rolls into a little ball it is synthetic.

human hair can be highlighted only with the help of heat. the easiest way to highlight the weave tracks are to use the "weaving teachnique" to highlight. then place them under a heating source like a hooded hair dryer or let them sit overnight with the bleach on them.

Can you use Static Guard on hair weave that is considered 100% Human Hair?

I want to keep my hair from frizzing.

Can you use Static Guard on hair weave that is considered 100% Human Hair?

Yes, I don't see why not?

Other ppl have used with success: a spray made of 1 part white vinager %26amp; 1 part water.

%26amp; Others have simply wiped a bounce sheet over their head.

Can you use Static Guard on hair weave that is considered 100% Human Hair?

I don't have a weave but I do use static gaurd on my own head of hair so I imagine it would have the same out come.

Can you use Static Guard on hair weave that is considered 100% Human Hair?

It should work the same as on normal hair. Just trying it will give you your answer I guess.

Can you use Static Guard on hair weave that is considered 100% Human Hair?

They have a lot of anti frizzing products out there, I would not recommend anything that is not designed specifically for hair. I know a lot of professionals who use IC frizz buster by fantasia.

Plan to relax my hair then get a weave but I hate the feel and itch of cornrows. Is bonding or fusio

I'm African American. The last time I relaxed my hair was about 10 to 15 years ago and it all fell out. I think partially because the guy who did it "forgot" i had virgin hair. since then the only thing i do is color it. I'm hoping this time will be better. Any suggestions?? I have wicked Tyra envy and i'm SO SICK of braids I've had them forever!!!

Plan to relax my hair then get a weave but I hate the feel and itch of cornrows. Is bonding or fusion better?

Well, bonding is the worst. That glue will take your hair out if you do it continuously and it does not last long. Fusion is a bit expensive and I heard that takes your hair out too, because when your hair is attached to that hair they use a special kind of glue and when its time to take that hair out it makes your hair break. I know sew in is itchy but it is the best option if yu want a weave that lasts for about a month.

Plan to relax my hair then get a weave but I hate the feel and itch of cornrows. Is bonding or fusion better?

as the first girl said bonding is worse.....i personally wouldnt relax my hair after that..... i know ur tired of braids but u can wear ur hair natural and have it out try using some of these products to help......blended beauty or curls or any of the others (read them first but i personally suggest the one mentioned) at naturallycurly.com........at least try this before u relax ur hair then u can go right ahead if ur not satisfied.....go to their personal webites if ur not convinced

How exactly does a hair weave work?

I know that Tyra Banks has one, but how does it work and where is her real hair? It's sad, I'm black and I don't even know...ahh!!

How exactly does a hair weave work?

Well, it depends on what hair weave u talkinz about, cause there is all kinds the weave pony tails (which u put your hair up in a ball in put the weave pony tail n or regular weave in which you french braid it to someones hair. Um, it works all kinds of ways, jus look at some hairstyles or go to a hairstylist or somethin n they will tell you what a hair weave is.

How exactly does a hair weave work?

The best advise is to go to a professional and let them explain it to you how it is done and which would look best on you.

Where can i get a hair weave like the stars?

I have had hair weaves in the past, put i want something that looks real like the stars.

Where can i get a hair weave like the stars?

there is no way that you can go to a salon and pay $100 to get the type of weave that you are looking for. The weave that looks the most natural would be achieved by getting fusion which can cost upwards of $600. Another popular thing that celebrities do is wear clip-in extensions which are great because it isn't permanent so you can have short hair one minute and long hair the next and vice versa. I found a great one for a low price but the hair quality is awesome @ www.rapunzel-rapunzel.com/

Hope this helps!

Where can i get a hair weave like the stars?

At a salon for about 100 dollars depending on where you live and the length of your hair.

Where I live only Caribbean hair-dressers will do it for you as their staff know what they are doing. Search around you may get lucky.

These hair weaves that the stars have are very expensive. As a man, I tend to like women who have long hair, but I also like to be able to run my fingers through it. Good luck with your quest.

u could go 2 the Korean place cuz they have almost all colors that u might B looking 4. That is if u have any of those stores around N yur area.

Hair fusion is what most celebrities get. They are attached by using glue. If you don't want to pay the big bucks, get a starter kit with an instruction video on ebay. My friend and I did our hair this way.

How do you curl human hair weave?

I'm getting tree braids tuesday but the hair she's going to put in hair is not curled. it's stick straight. I mean , I like it straight but i want it curled at the bottom. kinda like how a wrap should look. i want it to look good but i dont wan to mess it up and look a hot mess going to school the next day.

How do you curl human hair weave?

Flat iron, curling iron or hair rollers. Also, the quality of the human hair you are using will make a big difference in how the hair responds to whatever method you use.

How do you curl human hair weave?

With Rod Rollers or A Curling/Flat Iron

How do you curl human hair weave?

You could use a curling iron if it's human hair, or get some perm rods in the size you want the curls and rolls the ends and stick them in boiling water. That hot water will keep the curls.

OK how 2 make my hair longer? without weave/ its already long its halfway down ma back but how 2 mak

please answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK how 2 make my hair longer? without weave/ its already long its halfway down ma back but how 2 make it long

right now, tonight? get what is called a "fall" and pin it under your own hair and comb carefully to blend the two together.

If you want suggestions on how to enable your hair to reach maximum length for you:

http://www.longhairloom.com

http://www.longhaircommunity.com

If you must trim, use absolutely sharp scissors. Trimming individual split ends is called a "Search and Destroy Mission" and such *is* productive. If individual strands aren't split, just treat them nicely. Trimming good hair only shortens it.

I'm working on growing my own longer.

OK how 2 make my hair longer? without weave/ its already long its halfway down ma back but how 2 make it long

there is no way to make your hair grow longer other than mother nature. do not believe any of those ads you see or hear about. they are all fake. if you want or need longer hair 'now' you will have to do the weave or something similar. good luck : )

OK how 2 make my hair longer? without weave/ its already long its halfway down ma back but how 2 make it long

clip your ends about once a month

keep your hair moisturized

try to stay away from blowdryers n curling irons, flat iron etc.

and drink a lot of water

OK how 2 make my hair longer? without weave/ its already long its halfway down ma back but how 2 make it long

There's no actual way to make it long fast. Protein is known to help growth, and so does making sure you AND your hair is healthy. The "grow half a foot of hair in a month" products don't work ;).

Making your hair longer by force is like trying to make yourself taller by force!

Where does "Human Hair Weave" Come From?

Is it really Human Hair? Because there is soo much of it in the store!!!

Where does "Human Hair Weave" Come From?

There's a commercial on the Detroit station that says something about Indian hair, so my guess is a majority of the weave comes from India.

Where does "Human Hair Weave" Come From?

most of the time the hair is man made, and i dont mea REAL hair

Where does "Human Hair Weave" Come From?

Yes! It is made from human hair and of course treated for re-use..I am not sure if it is from donations/sales/dead people....let me know when you find out...

Where does "Human Hair Weave" Come From?

Yep, it can be either human or synthetic. Most of the time, ppl in asia grow out their hair and sell it. Its deff not from dead ppl.

Seriously, just don't get a weave. from a guys pov, it is so tacky.

Where does "Human Hair Weave" Come From?

the hair comes from russian prison camps, the prisoners exchange hgair for food it is actually a very sick trade, altough some hair does come from donations

Whats the differnce between fusion hair extensions and weave extensions?

A weave is sewn on to your stands using a careful pattern, fusion is heated onto your strands using what looks like a small hot iron. I had fusions before, they dont hurt except for the pulling, and both itch afterwards.

Whats the differnce between fusion hair extensions and weave extensions?

I have in fusion weave. Its hair fused in with glue or with these little, fine iron beads. I have mines done with beads. They take a piece of your hair and a piece of weave with the fine bead on it then they loop the hair through it then squeeze the bead with this machine-pliers. Then comb trough it. Fusion is so much better and it lasts for months

I'm Afro Caribbean with a human hair weave. Not sure how to tame the frizz. Any suggestions?

I always buy the same brand of hair (sensationnel), but find that once I leave the hair dressers my hair gets very tangly and frizzy. I have tried various oil sheen sprays and beeswax, but nothing seems to work. It frizzes within minutes of being combed or brushed. I have also resorted to using a hair dryer and straighteners, to try to control it. Are there any tricks/tips that I should be doing or should I experiement with another brand of hair?

I'm Afro Caribbean with a human hair weave. Not sure how to tame the frizz. Any suggestions?

If it IS human hair (as I think you stated), then it should be conditioned in the same way. I can't see beeswax doing much more than actually causing it to be sticky and tangle more. I've never had hair extensions or such myself, but I do know that it is absolutely essential to use conditioner if you want to stop hair being frizzy or flyaway. If you are using the right conditioner, then it is impossible to overcondition. After washing your hair, towel dry and detangle gently with a wide toothed comb. I would also recommend leave in or heat-activated treatments to add moisture to the ends, and when you brush or comb your hair, run your fingers over/through to smooth the cuticle.

I'm Afro Caribbean with a human hair weave. Not sure how to tame the frizz. Any suggestions?

Use human hair instead

I'm Afro Caribbean with a human hair weave. Not sure how to tame the frizz. Any suggestions?

Buy another brand....once its starts really nothing you can do but pull it back in a pony tail

I'm Afro Caribbean with a human hair weave. Not sure how to tame the frizz. Any suggestions?

maybe if u wash it, make sure u towel dry, then use Bio Silk, its a serum to give shine and makes it easy to comb hair, i am half black, and it works like wonders. then if its human hair, use a little mousse on ends to tame frizz..

I'm Afro Caribbean with a human hair weave. Not sure how to tame the frizz. Any suggestions?

Well it sound like maybe you bought some Irish hair lol. I am Irish...you need to use mousse. Put it in while your hair is still damp. Blow dry it straight or leave it in for wavy, concentrate on the ends. If you need volume put it in the roots and blow dry upside down.

I'm Afro Caribbean with a human hair weave. Not sure how to tame the frizz. Any suggestions?

You should wet down your hair, wait 10 min. then use a hair drier.

How to put hair weave tracks in?

is there anyway u could put tracks in your hair without glue, fusion,or sewing

How to put hair weave tracks in?

How to put hair weave tracks in?

Go here...

How to put hair weave tracks in?

Yes just go to an african american hair salon, they will twist your hair up, and cause you so much pain. You;ll be asking yourself dang... i should've got extentions

How do I take care of human hair weave?

The hair was manufactured by "Glamorous". It is silky straight, short (6 inches), brown, and sewn in. This is the first time that i have put it in my hair. I've had it in for three weeks now. My former hairdresser told me to wash the hair once a week with cold water with any clear shampoo and use olive oil to keep it moisturized, but the ends of the hair has become matted, stiff, and with rough ends. What can I do to reverse the damage and keep the hair looking good?

How do I take care of human hair weave?

well human hair doesn't get mated are you sure it's 100% really human and you take care of it like it yours

How do I take care of human hair weave?

apply less heatt

How do I take care of human hair weave?

you have to shampoo and condition it. It's best to use a rinse out conditioner and leave in conditioner. For the leave in I recommend Placenta, it does wonders for ANY type of hair, even human weave. The main thing is to condition, becasue just shampooing will leave it brittle. Also, wrap it after you blow dry your hair.

How do I take care of human hair weave?

Be sure that it is 100% human hair.

Then just take care of it as it were your own hair.

How do I take care of human hair weave?

u take care of them just like u would ur own hair...=]

I want weave, but i don't know how long my hair has to be to get it.?

My hair is about 2 to 3 inches long. Is it possible to get weave or should i wait for a while. i don't know they weave it in.

I want weave, but i don't know how long my hair has to be to get it.?

Have you ever heard of a quick weave? Basically what the stylist does is create this cap on top of your hair then glue the weave to the cap.

I want weave, but i don't know how long my hair has to be to get it.?

Hi your hair is fine for extentions, but you will need to make sure you really take care of your hair. Report It

What is the best brand of hair weave that is easy to manage and doesn't tangle?

I want a new look for the 2008 so was thinkng of a weave straight with a bang. had bad expieriences with weave or that they tend to get nappy fast and the texture tends to get rough. What is the best brnad and type of weave to buy?

What is the best brand of hair weave that is easy to manage and doesn't tangle?

Any type of remy hair will probably work. You can order really nice high quality hair from:

www.extensions-plus.com

www.indianhairs.com/onlinestores.html

http://wagmanprimus.com/product_results....

remyhairtoday.com

These vendors all carry very nice hair that wont tangle and can be reused. The downside, they are a little pricey...

I've only bought hair from indian hairs and I really like it, they give you enough hair for two installs and it lasts for a very long time. I've had my hair since august and its still like new.

Bonding glue from hair weave all over roots, won't come out!?

I glue in my weave every month or so and it is often a pain to remove but this one is the worst. I used a combination of Liquid Gold and the regular sticky white glue to put it in. After using the Liquid Gold remover, lotion remover, remover shampoo, oil, conditioner, sitting under a dryer then combing it out, degunkifyer by Herbal Essence, the end result is glue that is smeared and stuck around my scalp. None of those methods or products worked at all.

It isn't clumps really, just sticky ALL OVER near the roots. PLEASE HELP!

Bonding glue from hair weave all over roots, won't come out!?

buying all that glue remover and drowning your hair with all that remover and oil, only does one thing: MAKES YOUR HAIR OILY %26amp; MESSY...

Buy some Creme of Nature Detangling Shampoo (beige bottle w/ red writing) %26amp; wash your hair with that, using this shampoo will make your hair soft, apply your conditioner and use a fine tooth comb to get the glue out. After doing so, wash your hair again with the creme of nature to get the residue out...

Good luck

Bonding glue from hair weave all over roots, won't come out!?

okay i had the same problem%26gt;

1st: put baby oil alll over ur hair

than put conditioner all over it too

2:put a plastic cap over it and then a plastic bag(witout harming urself)

3:put heat on it or walk around the house u will feel the heat build up

all that body heat will build up and make ur head hot which make the cap fogg up....its loosin the glue after an hour try combin it then repeat

4: than after glue clumps removed apply the remover shampoo 3x

5:then leave n conditioner then wash out and style normal

Bonding glue from hair weave all over roots, won't come out!?

apparently hot water

Does anyone know how to close off a quick weave with none of my hair at all?

I see that alot of the synthetic hair come with a closure, but I like human hair.

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

Sometimes it just makes me laugh.

Other black people are guilty of this as well.

Not all black women that have long hair wear weave.

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

not to call Carmen out but it's reason's just like that. Black hair grows the same speed as other types of hair, it is based on genetics. In fact, it can be argued that black hair grows longer because it is tightly curled, so when straightened expresses longer length. it's just also fragile so prone to breakage. And add petroleum, mineral oil and other such things (which are found in just about every hair product marketed towards blacks) and you have a problem.

It's a lack of information, perpetuated by people who make money off of telling us our hair is bad (and giving us products to keep it bad) then trying to sell up products to make it "good"

My hair is kinky, and long. when i was growing up, it was nappy. now? it must be long because i have "good" hair. It drives me nuts. And I've heard the weave thing often. I'm like- they don't make weave in nappy, to my knowledge.

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

True.

But since our hair is different and does not grow as fast as our white counterparts' hair because of lack of oil production, then most people just assume that it is a weave.

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

my g/f's hair is real. at first i though it was a weave, but then i learned she has some indian in her. so now i dont think every black girl with long hair has a "track"

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

Most non-Blacks do not realize the diversity in the genetic make-up of Black people. Because of this, they generalize and believe that all Black people must have the same type, length, and texture of hair--just like they believe most Blacks look alike, act alike, sound alike, are of the same religious, socio-economic, and intellectual levels. In other words, it is pure ignorance.

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

Its usually true.

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

No they don't and I am sick of folks thinking that every black lady who wears their hair long is lying about it not being fake

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

East Africans have a long hair, and they are Blacks. Not all Black people wears a weave. It is all natural, as real as their booty is.

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

no it depends on how dominate their Caucasian genes are. ****** dont have round hair follicles but oval shape which gives their hair the upright position and wave. However as the about of Caucasian genes that make their hair casian like and the genes that make their skin lighter are not related so you can get dark looking ***** with Caucasian hair. It should be noted that unless a ***** comes from Africa that they are in fact only part black and will have different Caucasian trait in their genetic makeup

Larissa hair weave on flava of love Charm School?

Does anyone know what type of hair that is???? Thanks!!!

Larissa hair weave on flava of love Charm School?

Its 100% Indian Remy.

Indian Remy hair can be bought straight or naturally curly. If you do get it naturally curly like Larissa's, then you can always wash it and blow dry it straight or let it air dry curly. It is absolutely WONDERFUL. I have a lace wig with that kind of hair, and everyone who doesn't know me thinks that I am some biracial woman with beautiful, long curly hair....shame they don't know that I am really nappy headed underneath.
