How do you curl human hair weave?

I'm getting tree braids tuesday but the hair she's going to put in hair is not curled. it's stick straight. I mean , I like it straight but i want it curled at the bottom. kinda like how a wrap should look. i want it to look good but i dont wan to mess it up and look a hot mess going to school the next day.

How do you curl human hair weave?

Flat iron, curling iron or hair rollers. Also, the quality of the human hair you are using will make a big difference in how the hair responds to whatever method you use.

How do you curl human hair weave?

With Rod Rollers or A Curling/Flat Iron

How do you curl human hair weave?

You could use a curling iron if it's human hair, or get some perm rods in the size you want the curls and rolls the ends and stick them in boiling water. That hot water will keep the curls.

OK how 2 make my hair longer? without weave/ its already long its halfway down ma back but how 2 mak

please answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK how 2 make my hair longer? without weave/ its already long its halfway down ma back but how 2 make it long

right now, tonight? get what is called a "fall" and pin it under your own hair and comb carefully to blend the two together.

If you want suggestions on how to enable your hair to reach maximum length for you:

http://www.longhairloom.com

http://www.longhaircommunity.com

If you must trim, use absolutely sharp scissors. Trimming individual split ends is called a "Search and Destroy Mission" and such *is* productive. If individual strands aren't split, just treat them nicely. Trimming good hair only shortens it.

I'm working on growing my own longer.

OK how 2 make my hair longer? without weave/ its already long its halfway down ma back but how 2 make it long

there is no way to make your hair grow longer other than mother nature. do not believe any of those ads you see or hear about. they are all fake. if you want or need longer hair 'now' you will have to do the weave or something similar. good luck : )

OK how 2 make my hair longer? without weave/ its already long its halfway down ma back but how 2 make it long

clip your ends about once a month

keep your hair moisturized

try to stay away from blowdryers n curling irons, flat iron etc.

and drink a lot of water

OK how 2 make my hair longer? without weave/ its already long its halfway down ma back but how 2 make it long

There's no actual way to make it long fast. Protein is known to help growth, and so does making sure you AND your hair is healthy. The "grow half a foot of hair in a month" products don't work ;).

Making your hair longer by force is like trying to make yourself taller by force!

Where does "Human Hair Weave" Come From?

Is it really Human Hair? Because there is soo much of it in the store!!!

Where does "Human Hair Weave" Come From?

There's a commercial on the Detroit station that says something about Indian hair, so my guess is a majority of the weave comes from India.

Where does "Human Hair Weave" Come From?

most of the time the hair is man made, and i dont mea REAL hair

Where does "Human Hair Weave" Come From?

Yes! It is made from human hair and of course treated for re-use..I am not sure if it is from donations/sales/dead people....let me know when you find out...

Where does "Human Hair Weave" Come From?

Yep, it can be either human or synthetic. Most of the time, ppl in asia grow out their hair and sell it. Its deff not from dead ppl.

Seriously, just don't get a weave. from a guys pov, it is so tacky.

Where does "Human Hair Weave" Come From?

the hair comes from russian prison camps, the prisoners exchange hgair for food it is actually a very sick trade, altough some hair does come from donations

Whats the differnce between fusion hair extensions and weave extensions?

A weave is sewn on to your stands using a careful pattern, fusion is heated onto your strands using what looks like a small hot iron. I had fusions before, they dont hurt except for the pulling, and both itch afterwards.

Whats the differnce between fusion hair extensions and weave extensions?

I have in fusion weave. Its hair fused in with glue or with these little, fine iron beads. I have mines done with beads. They take a piece of your hair and a piece of weave with the fine bead on it then they loop the hair through it then squeeze the bead with this machine-pliers. Then comb trough it. Fusion is so much better and it lasts for months

I'm Afro Caribbean with a human hair weave. Not sure how to tame the frizz. Any suggestions?

I always buy the same brand of hair (sensationnel), but find that once I leave the hair dressers my hair gets very tangly and frizzy. I have tried various oil sheen sprays and beeswax, but nothing seems to work. It frizzes within minutes of being combed or brushed. I have also resorted to using a hair dryer and straighteners, to try to control it. Are there any tricks/tips that I should be doing or should I experiement with another brand of hair?

I'm Afro Caribbean with a human hair weave. Not sure how to tame the frizz. Any suggestions?

If it IS human hair (as I think you stated), then it should be conditioned in the same way. I can't see beeswax doing much more than actually causing it to be sticky and tangle more. I've never had hair extensions or such myself, but I do know that it is absolutely essential to use conditioner if you want to stop hair being frizzy or flyaway. If you are using the right conditioner, then it is impossible to overcondition. After washing your hair, towel dry and detangle gently with a wide toothed comb. I would also recommend leave in or heat-activated treatments to add moisture to the ends, and when you brush or comb your hair, run your fingers over/through to smooth the cuticle.

I'm Afro Caribbean with a human hair weave. Not sure how to tame the frizz. Any suggestions?

Use human hair instead

I'm Afro Caribbean with a human hair weave. Not sure how to tame the frizz. Any suggestions?

Buy another brand....once its starts really nothing you can do but pull it back in a pony tail

I'm Afro Caribbean with a human hair weave. Not sure how to tame the frizz. Any suggestions?

maybe if u wash it, make sure u towel dry, then use Bio Silk, its a serum to give shine and makes it easy to comb hair, i am half black, and it works like wonders. then if its human hair, use a little mousse on ends to tame frizz..

I'm Afro Caribbean with a human hair weave. Not sure how to tame the frizz. Any suggestions?

Well it sound like maybe you bought some Irish hair lol. I am Irish...you need to use mousse. Put it in while your hair is still damp. Blow dry it straight or leave it in for wavy, concentrate on the ends. If you need volume put it in the roots and blow dry upside down.

I'm Afro Caribbean with a human hair weave. Not sure how to tame the frizz. Any suggestions?

You should wet down your hair, wait 10 min. then use a hair drier.

How to put hair weave tracks in?

is there anyway u could put tracks in your hair without glue, fusion,or sewing

How to put hair weave tracks in?

they can braid them into your hair (think horizontal cornrows). apparently it causes the least amount of damage.

How to put hair weave tracks in?

Go here...

How to put hair weave tracks in?

Yes just go to an african american hair salon, they will twist your hair up, and cause you so much pain. You;ll be asking yourself dang... i should've got extentions

How do I take care of human hair weave?

The hair was manufactured by "Glamorous". It is silky straight, short (6 inches), brown, and sewn in. This is the first time that i have put it in my hair. I've had it in for three weeks now. My former hairdresser told me to wash the hair once a week with cold water with any clear shampoo and use olive oil to keep it moisturized, but the ends of the hair has become matted, stiff, and with rough ends. What can I do to reverse the damage and keep the hair looking good?

How do I take care of human hair weave?

well human hair doesn't get mated are you sure it's 100% really human and you take care of it like it yours

How do I take care of human hair weave?

apply less heatt

How do I take care of human hair weave?

you have to shampoo and condition it. It's best to use a rinse out conditioner and leave in conditioner. For the leave in I recommend Placenta, it does wonders for ANY type of hair, even human weave. The main thing is to condition, becasue just shampooing will leave it brittle. Also, wrap it after you blow dry your hair.

How do I take care of human hair weave?

Be sure that it is 100% human hair.

Then just take care of it as it were your own hair.

How do I take care of human hair weave?

u take care of them just like u would ur own hair...=]

I want weave, but i don't know how long my hair has to be to get it.?

My hair is about 2 to 3 inches long. Is it possible to get weave or should i wait for a while. i don't know they weave it in.

I want weave, but i don't know how long my hair has to be to get it.?

Have you ever heard of a quick weave? Basically what the stylist does is create this cap on top of your hair then glue the weave to the cap.

I want weave, but i don't know how long my hair has to be to get it.?

Hi your hair is fine for extentions, but you will need to make sure you really take care of your hair. Report It

I want weave, but i don't know how long my hair has to be to get it.?

cccccccccccooooooooooooooooooollllllll!

What is the best brand of hair weave that is easy to manage and doesn't tangle?

I want a new look for the 2008 so was thinkng of a weave straight with a bang. had bad expieriences with weave or that they tend to get nappy fast and the texture tends to get rough. What is the best brnad and type of weave to buy?

What is the best brand of hair weave that is easy to manage and doesn't tangle?

Any type of remy hair will probably work. You can order really nice high quality hair from:

www.extensions-plus.com

www.indianhairs.com/onlinestores.html

http://wagmanprimus.com/product_results....

remyhairtoday.com

These vendors all carry very nice hair that wont tangle and can be reused. The downside, they are a little pricey...

I've only bought hair from indian hairs and I really like it, they give you enough hair for two installs and it lasts for a very long time. I've had my hair since august and its still like new.

Bonding glue from hair weave all over roots, won't come out!?

I glue in my weave every month or so and it is often a pain to remove but this one is the worst. I used a combination of Liquid Gold and the regular sticky white glue to put it in. After using the Liquid Gold remover, lotion remover, remover shampoo, oil, conditioner, sitting under a dryer then combing it out, degunkifyer by Herbal Essence, the end result is glue that is smeared and stuck around my scalp. None of those methods or products worked at all.

It isn't clumps really, just sticky ALL OVER near the roots. PLEASE HELP!

Bonding glue from hair weave all over roots, won't come out!?

buying all that glue remover and drowning your hair with all that remover and oil, only does one thing: MAKES YOUR HAIR OILY %26amp; MESSY...

Buy some Creme of Nature Detangling Shampoo (beige bottle w/ red writing) %26amp; wash your hair with that, using this shampoo will make your hair soft, apply your conditioner and use a fine tooth comb to get the glue out. After doing so, wash your hair again with the creme of nature to get the residue out...

Good luck

Bonding glue from hair weave all over roots, won't come out!?

okay i had the same problem%26gt;

1st: put baby oil alll over ur hair

than put conditioner all over it too

2:put a plastic cap over it and then a plastic bag(witout harming urself)

3:put heat on it or walk around the house u will feel the heat build up

all that body heat will build up and make ur head hot which make the cap fogg up....its loosin the glue after an hour try combin it then repeat

4: than after glue clumps removed apply the remover shampoo 3x

5:then leave n conditioner then wash out and style normal

Bonding glue from hair weave all over roots, won't come out!?

apparently hot water

Does anyone know how to close off a quick weave with none of my hair at all?

I see that alot of the synthetic hair come with a closure, but I like human hair.

Does anyone know how to close off a quick weave with none of my hair at all?

yes. its called a pin hole close where you keep going around and all that you see at the top is a hole the size of a pin hole

Does anyone know how to close off a quick weave with none of my hair at all?

Do a search on You-tube.

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

Sometimes it just makes me laugh.

Other black people are guilty of this as well.

Not all black women that have long hair wear weave.

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

not to call Carmen out but it's reason's just like that. Black hair grows the same speed as other types of hair, it is based on genetics. In fact, it can be argued that black hair grows longer because it is tightly curled, so when straightened expresses longer length. it's just also fragile so prone to breakage. And add petroleum, mineral oil and other such things (which are found in just about every hair product marketed towards blacks) and you have a problem.

It's a lack of information, perpetuated by people who make money off of telling us our hair is bad (and giving us products to keep it bad) then trying to sell up products to make it "good"

My hair is kinky, and long. when i was growing up, it was nappy. now? it must be long because i have "good" hair. It drives me nuts. And I've heard the weave thing often. I'm like- they don't make weave in nappy, to my knowledge.

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

True.

But since our hair is different and does not grow as fast as our white counterparts' hair because of lack of oil production, then most people just assume that it is a weave.

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

my g/f's hair is real. at first i though it was a weave, but then i learned she has some indian in her. so now i dont think every black girl with long hair has a "track"

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

Most non-Blacks do not realize the diversity in the genetic make-up of Black people. Because of this, they generalize and believe that all Black people must have the same type, length, and texture of hair--just like they believe most Blacks look alike, act alike, sound alike, are of the same religious, socio-economic, and intellectual levels. In other words, it is pure ignorance.

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

Its usually true.

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

No they don't and I am sick of folks thinking that every black lady who wears their hair long is lying about it not being fake

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

East Africans have a long hair, and they are Blacks. Not all Black people wears a weave. It is all natural, as real as their booty is.

Why is it that when a black woman have long hair, people think it is weave?

no it depends on how dominate their Caucasian genes are. ****** dont have round hair follicles but oval shape which gives their hair the upright position and wave. However as the about of Caucasian genes that make their hair casian like and the genes that make their skin lighter are not related so you can get dark looking ***** with Caucasian hair. It should be noted that unless a ***** comes from Africa that they are in fact only part black and will have different Caucasian trait in their genetic makeup

Larissa hair weave on flava of love Charm School?

Does anyone know what type of hair that is???? Thanks!!!

Larissa hair weave on flava of love Charm School?

Its 100% Indian Remy.

Indian Remy hair can be bought straight or naturally curly. If you do get it naturally curly like Larissa's, then you can always wash it and blow dry it straight or let it air dry curly. It is absolutely WONDERFUL. I have a lace wig with that kind of hair, and everyone who doesn't know me thinks that I am some biracial woman with beautiful, long curly hair....shame they don't know that I am really nappy headed underneath.

Larissa hair weave on flava of love Charm School?

Its probably Indian or Bohemian hair. Those are some of the best hairs to get ur weave done with.

Is it better if I get a relaxer first? Hair weave question...?

I'm getting extensions sewn-in this weekend. I was going to get a perm on my head first. The extensions will be all over so all of my hair will be braided. Would it be better or worse if I got the perm first? I haven't had a perm in a few months. Would getting one make the extensions last longer or not last as long?

Is it better if I get a relaxer first? Hair weave question...?

You shouldn't get a relaxer. If your hair is a little nappy that's good because it will make the braids stronger and the thread will have something strong to hold on to. If you get a relaxer, ur hair will be too straight and the braids may not last as long. You need ur hair to have thicker texture so the braids last longer. Also this gives ur hair a chance to rest from chemicals and it will grow faster and healthier.

Hi, everyone quick question. How do you sew in hair weave ? Do you sew it in the scalp of the head?

i wanna put SAGA virgin haiir weave in my head

Hi, everyone quick question. How do you sew in hair weave ? Do you sew it in the scalp of the head?

The stylist braids your hair into cornrows, then sews the hair in.

Hi, everyone quick question. How do you sew in hair weave ? Do you sew it in the scalp of the head?

u sew it into the braids.

Hi, everyone quick question. How do you sew in hair weave ? Do you sew it in the scalp of the head?

you put corn row braids along the scalp and sew the weave into your hair braid not the scalp itself..that would really hurt

Hi, everyone quick question. How do you sew in hair weave ? Do you sew it in the scalp of the head?

no u dont sew it IN ur scalp you;ll bleed to death! you need to braid ur hair first and the sew the weave underneath the braid...u understand? even if u dont please dont sew it into your scalp it'll hurt BADLY

Hi, everyone quick question. How do you sew in hair weave ? Do you sew it in the scalp of the head?

go get it done...dont do it yourself your gonna screw it up

Hi, everyone quick question. How do you sew in hair weave ? Do you sew it in the scalp of the head?

no you do not sew it into your head it is sewn into the hair that you have underneath the top layer of hair and it should blend in so no one knows that it is there.

Hi, everyone quick question. How do you sew in hair weave ? Do you sew it in the scalp of the head?

you get ur hair cornrolled it all depends ont he style you want..u can cornroll it in a circle or zigzag..and u sew it into the braids making a knot after each time you go into a braid

Hi, everyone quick question. How do you sew in hair weave ? Do you sew it in the scalp of the head?

OMG!!!Please get help from someone whose done this before!!!

Basically, corn rows are braided from side to side, like from ear to ear. Then the weave is sewn into the braid, not the scalp!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Hi, everyone quick question. How do you sew in hair weave ? Do you sew it in the scalp of the head?

i hope not!?!? sounds like torcher....

Sorry i completely know thats not helpful... hang on....have you wiki'd it?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hair_weave

Hi, everyone quick question. How do you sew in hair weave ? Do you sew it in the scalp of the head?

you have to braid it first then sew it into the braids....

Hi, everyone quick question. How do you sew in hair weave ? Do you sew it in the scalp of the head?

A hair weave can either be sewn or glued into the existing hair. The sewing process generally takes from 1 to 4 hours depending on how much hair you decide to have sewn in to you existing hair, so i would say into your hair.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hair_weave#...

Hi, everyone quick question. How do you sew in hair weave ? Do you sew it in the scalp of the head?

You sew it into the braids. You braid your own hair across the head then you sew the weave into those braids. OH yea the braids are done so tight that you get a mini face lift.

You can also glue your extensions in if you just want them for a few weeks. Then you part the hair, and lay the extensions in and glue them in a long track. You can also glue each strain to your own hair (like Brittney Spears) that ruins your own hair big time.

My daughter and I bought hair and we sewed them onto clips that way she can take them in and out any time she wants to.

As you see there are many different ways to do it depending on the type and style of hair you get.

Hi, everyone quick question. How do you sew in hair weave ? Do you sew it in the scalp of the head?

You have to cornrow your entire head into a big spiral, then sew a fishnet cap onto the braided hair, then you take the tracks of hair and cut them to the measured size of your head. then you sew them with a curved dull needle around the head. its kind of difficult, and your best bet for the best results would be to go to a professional that knows how to do this type of weave. you can find someone at the local ahir store you go to to buy your hair, they'll probably have lots.

Hair weave question?

Is their any form of hair extensions for men? I've heard of the glue in kind, but I don't know what they're called or what I should look for.

Hair weave question?

You should look into something called Lacefront Wigs.

I think they are traditionally for women, but they are custom made so you can pick your color texture and length.

Its very natural looking because it is applied with glue and a swiss lacefront. Basically when you put it on, its like adding another layer of skin. You cut off the additional and whats left becomes traditional. Tyra Banks wheres one.

They can be kinda pricey, but it would do you loads of good. Mostly since you dont wanna be dealing with taupes and stupid stuff like that, that could possibly come off.. and you would hate to be getting it on with a sexy female and then ur hair falls off..lol, talk about ruining the moment

Hair weave question?

YES, they are called tracks for females and taupe for men...you should go to a hair store and ask if they sale them if they don't ask where can you get one from....

Re:Does the hair weave brand milky way have hair that is for thick hair?

This is hair extensions mostly used by african american type of hair for people who b4 thought different.

Re:Does the hair weave brand milky way have hair that is for thick hair?

it doesn't matter what you hair type is like .. your natural hair gets braided either way .... so in the end they are only working with the weave ... do a lil research on weaves you completely understand what i'm talking about

Does glue in weave break your hair?

My friend told me instead of me bleaching or dying my natural hair I should glue in a color track%26gt;I was just wondering if thats better or worse....

Does glue in weave break your hair?

If you use too much glue it will damage your hair.

Does glue in weave break your hair?

If you're not sure, try an inexpensive clip in color track - and if you like the look and want to wear it for a while, get to a competent colorist.

Don't glue. Glued in tracks may make your hair break or force you to cut some to remove the track (as your hair grows the track will get loose, so within 3 - 6 weeks, you'll need to redo it.) Braided in weaves can actually pull your hair out by the roots because the weft puts so much pressure on your scalp - and they also need to be redone as your hair grows out.

Does glue in weave break your hair?

yes it does. try sewing the track in it lasts longer and saves your hair

Does glue in weave break your hair?

(((Glue, is Tar. Yes! Liquid tar))) I would not use glue in hairweaving. There is a better way to get the look U want without using glue.

First, make a thin corn-roll %26amp; sew the weave hair to the corn-roll. part a section of hair to cover the "sewn in track".

Second, Use YOUR own hair to make a track by pinching off small section %26amp; wrapping weaving thread around it until you've created a track going from LEFT to Right. Then, sew the weaving hair to YOUR own hair-track.

Third. Use a STOCKING! Place a Nylon Stocking on a WigHead, spray with HEAVY Holding Spray %26amp; Let it dry competely. Then, YOU can Bond the weaving hair to the stocking cap. The Result will be as YOU want it without using that nasty glue.

I hope all this information will be of GREAT assistance to you in the future!! Please Don't Use ANY Glue on your SCALP

Kelly Rowland hair weave?

Kelly Rowland hair weave?

That is NOT an afro and if you go into a shop asking for afro hair you will never get the hair that is in that photo. The best thing to do is to take that photo into the shop with you.

What you want is hair on a weff with a 鎴甶n. to 1in. spiral curl or a LARGE disco curl. You can also go the way of the deep wave it is looser then curly but it tends to do better after you wash and style it again.

When you buy it the curl of the hair looks twice as tight and less full and fluffy but it will fill out when you loosen up the curls.

Whats the difference between hair extensions and a weave?

weave is an example of hair extension. weave increases hair length and thickness while extensions increase the length only

weaves can b braided into corn rows in ur hair but extension hangs loose, mainly for open hair

Best weave for caucasian hair, about 3 inches long?

I have always liked hairdo's I see on African American women where the first inch or so is a braid, then the rest is loose. Would that work on caucasian hair?

Best weave for caucasian hair, about 3 inches long?

Hair weave damage??

ok my hair is slightly damaged from sewing in hair extensions and whatnot..its because i relaxed my hair then put the extensions s0o yeaa its not a suprise to mee that my hair is damaged but anywaysss my bday is comin and i wanted to color my hair and put extensions again..my bday is feb 11..but as of now it looks like my hair cant handle that...s0o i was just wondering whats some things i can do soo my hair can be in good condition soo i can have my hair nice for my bday..i was thinkin bout cuttin my ends and gettin a deep conditioner and/or get cornrows cuz usually my hair recovers when i get it braided....any more suggestions?? thnx

Hair weave damage??

Trim the ends, after you shampoo your hair get a deep conditionning or hot oil treatments.stay away from hair straighteners.Don't relax your hair too much.I suggenst that you wait a month before you put weave in your hair again.so yeah by the time your bday comes you'll be able braid your hair or do something with it.If you want to color your hair ,make sure it's a rinse, other wise if you put a permanent color, your hair is going to fall out.and be damaged.

good luck

Hair weave damage??

v05 hot oil treatments work wonders on damaged hair

Hair weave damage??

Definitely trim your ends and get a hot oil treatment. Also, use some leave in conditionar like cholestorol. You should look at getting a super cute wig! They have all different styles and stuff and you can wear your hair however you want without any damage! Make sure you get it fitted and pick a color and style that works for your look. I think a nice long, big curl style would be fabulous for a b-day!

Hair weave damage??

NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER relax and sew in all in the same day its to much tension on the hair. I don't know if you get your entire head braided then sewn with just the perimeter left out or if you just get part of your hair braided with tracks sewn in between your natural hair. If you only leave the perimeter out than you can relax the edges of your hair otherwise relax first wait a week or so then add weave.

Get your ends trimmed and only get an hot oil treatment if your hair is dry. yes you need a deep conditioner it's a product called MURAD that's for damaged hair it also has a hair serum that's great but it's a professional product you may be able to try to find a web site about it I'm not sure. Do this and you should be good by your birthday but I would get right on it if I were you. GOOD LUCK!!!

Is Beyonce's hair really weave?

I thought all that hair was real, but someone today told me it wasn't real. and that she's had that weave in a long time.

which one's true?

Is Beyonce's hair really weave?

It is not real. It is a weave.

Is Beyonce's hair really weave?

total weave!

Is Beyonce's hair really weave?

weave hunny ! have you seen a African American with such long think hair that's real? nope no way , even Caucasian celebs have weaves. Britney spears before she shaved her hair had one, so does Jessica abla, and rihanna had one way back when she had long hair.

Is Beyonce's hair really weave?

It's a weave.

Is Beyonce's hair really weave?

IT's a lace front wig

here is a link to what they look like: http://www.denovohair.com/

Is Beyonce's hair really weave?

Please.. anyone who believes her hair is real should be smacked.. her real hair probably 3 inches long all around and nappy.. Sorry but I hate her.. she reminds me of a tranny

Is Beyonce's hair really weave?

x_x where were you all this time of course that is fake.

Is Beyonce's hair really weave?

She wears weave and she has admitted it in magazine interviews. It does look real too, its human hair.

To the person that says African-Amercans CANT have long hair like that and have it real, you are WRONG. My sisternlaw hair goes down to her butt, and she is FULLY black.

Can you dye human hair for weaving with dye you use to dye your own hair with?

i want to match my hair perfectly with the weave i am going to use. will regular products such as clarol work on dying human hair weaving??

Can you dye human hair for weaving with dye you use to dye your own hair with?

I would suggest doing a strain test of the weave hair first because it may not absorb the color the same as your natural hair. And it depends on how drastic of a color change too. If your going from dark to light or vice versa.

Can you dye human hair for weaving with dye you use to dye your own hair with?

Yes, it will. That is what hairdressers do to better match it to your hair. A lot of times they will dye both your hair and the weave hair for an exact match.

Can you dye human hair for weaving with dye you use to dye your own hair with?

Yes it will work but you don't know how the weave hair was processed. So you wouldn't really know your end result until you do it. Always buy the the weave in the color you need so you won't have this problem.

Which is better for your hair: a weave or a wig???

My hair is a good length, but its relaxed and always getting frizzy. And over the years its gotten thinner. I tried a weave but its unbearble with the itching. And is it that easy to spot the difference between a wig and a weave?

Which is better for your hair: a weave or a wig???

Have you tried a Lace Front or a Full Lace wig. Really with a lace wig it is hard to tell the difference. As a matter of face, with lace wigs the wig looks like your own hair. They cost the same as a really good weave but they are easier to maintain, becuase when you get tired of it, you can just take it off. There is a huge difference between a lace wig and a Beauty Supply Store(BSS) wig. The BSS is extermely noticable. If you are thinking about going to a wig i would recommend a lacefront as your first choice and then if you like it upgrade to a full lace. If you want more info let me know. I have been wearing lace wigs for a couple years now. Here is where i order them from. www.hairbylondon.com

What exactly is 100% human hair yaky weave?

Does yaky refer to yak (animal) hair or Yaqui (American Indian) hair? Or something else? I'm thinking of having yaky weave added to my hair, but not if it's 100% ox hair.

What exactly is 100% human hair yaky weave?

No, it's not ox hair at all. Yaky is just a texture of the human hair. It means slightly kinky. Don't worry, no matter what you buy you will never be putting animal hair in your head. It's all either synthetic or human.

What exactly is 100% human hair yaky weave?

I think yaky is just a brand.

My hair in weave?

ive just had a weave done for the first time and colud you tell me how long to keep it in for and tell me how to keep my own hair in good condition please :) xx

My hair in weave?

The person that did your hair should have told you all those things~! You comb the ends with a wide tooth comb, %26amp; hold the weave part with your other hand so you wont catch it with the comb or pull it to much. cover it at night so it won't all knot up, %26amp; wash it carefully( Once a week) with good moisturizing shampoo, %26amp; use a good conditioner...don't rinse it all out. Should last for two months. maybe more if you are careful.

My hair in weave?

Congrats on your first hair weave...

Your weave if done properly can last 6-8 weeks, keeping it in good condition: you can go to your stylist and wash / tighting the tracks in the next 2-3 weeks, you can also ask for a deep conditioner as well. Depending on your hair you got, if you have straight hair, wrap the hair at night and apply a light oil or moisturizer to the hair so they hair doesn't dry out, but make sure its nothing heavy since you dont want to walk around with extra oliy hair. If you have wavy hair, braiding it in 2-3 plaits will help you keep the wave pattern.

Good luck...

I have a human hair track (weave) in my hair and the curls wont stay in?

i have human hair track (weave) in my hair and every time i try to curl the hair the curls drop out within an hour or so. i dont have any spritz and i need to curl my hair for tommorrow for school can anyone help me?

I have a human hair track (weave) in my hair and the curls wont stay in?

braid the hair and take it out in the morning, the curls should be cute OR get curlers and put them in ur hair, take them out... OR THE GHETTO WAY, TAKE A PAPER BAG, RIP INTO STRIPS, TAKE SOME HAIR, PUT THE PAPER AT THE BOTTOM AND TURN IT UPWARD..FOLD THE PAPER IN PLACE... my mom did my sister's hair like this years ago. they worked for me *the braid thing* hopefully it will work 4 u as well :)

Is braiding your hair with weave bad for your hair?

i was told that if you braid your hair with weave it can pull your hair out. i want to get my hair braided so i dont have to put heat in it so my hair will grow- is this wrong

ohhh and when i get it braided i'll probably leave it in for about 1-2 weeks and oil it every 3 days is this good for my hair?

Is braiding your hair with weave bad for your hair?

i braid and twist hair. i also keep mine braided. my hair is down my back. it keeps my hair growing so i won't throw it in a pony tail and it brakes off. i clip my ends first then get it braided. i dont put tracks in my hair because i dont like the bonding glue, it take your hair out

Is braiding your hair with weave bad for your hair?

Yeah it's good especially if your oiling it, just leave it in a little longer maybe 3 weeks instead of 1-2.... but it can pull your hair out if it's braided to tight or it can pull your hairline way back leaving a bald spot in the front. But your doing fine apprantley just don't keep putting it in, make sure you wash your hair and don't put any weave in it for 2 weeks.

Is braiding your hair with weave bad for your hair?

My daughter is mixed and she was told that weave isn't the best alternative. She went for mirco-braids. I learned how to do it in 2 days and Im pretty good. My daughter would go proud in school that mom did her hair. Heh!

Hey... anyway, I would research little bit more on web and see how safe weaves are. I would hate to hear if it came out bad for you.

Take care, peace!

Is braiding your hair with weave bad for your hair?

braiding ur hair with synthetic hair will be bad if u leave it in for too long, ur hair will definitely start to break off, braiding ur hair with human hair however, will be a better option for u. i would totally recommend that u get it done that way. as long as u maintain ur braids and wash them and oil or condition them u'll be good.

Hair problems Weave?

Hiya

I want to know what the defrence is between a half head weave and a full head weave, Do you know any websites that have pictures or any simple infomation?

This would really help,

Thank you

P.S.

Im having my hair done tomorrow so I need you to be quick.

Hair problems Weave?

OK...if you don't mind a long distance call, you can call the best extention stylist in Ottawa. She can tell you everything you need to know. She does my hair...and I have extentions. Her name is Ena and her # is 613-236-2662. Basically, they cornrow your hair from ear to ear (across your head). Then they sew on the hair bands to the rows. Depending on how long your hair is, the higher you go up. If you only go half way up, and you have short hair, anyone will see the difference and you'll be left with a mushroom on the top of your head.

Hair extensions-weave/glu/clip??

I've been looking at the different methods of hair extentions which is really quite an art! Could someone with experience in this field help me out? Looks like the weave method is best. Prices are highest for weaves but probably the best. How do you wash your hair? Is sleeping a problem? How often do you have to get 'touch ups'? Probably the most $$'s too .. any info would be great...!

Hair extensions-weave/glu/clip??

I had a "weave" for about 3 weeks and I couldn't STAND IT! It felt like I was wearing a helmet the entire time and I couldn't wash my hair everyday like I was used to. Plus, if you get shampoo in the scalp, it itches like crazy!

The best method is to have them "fused" to your natural hair through some type of molecular binding. Not sure how it works, but I'm sure you can research it. My friend got it done and it was basically like her own hair. They fused it onto the ends of her own hair. No worries with washing, styling, etc. I think it cost her like $1000 bucks though, but she had them for about a year.

Hair extensions-weave/glu/clip??

If you want extensions, the best thing to do is look for someone who specializes in So.CAP hair extensions. they are the BEST in hair extension technology. They offer a fusion process that wont destroy your hair like glue. Good Luck!

Hair extensions-weave/glu/clip??

I'd say cold fusion extensions are your best bet.

Thinning hair after weave removed?

my hair had medium thickness before I started getting weaves. I got weaves back to back for nearly a year and inbetween weaves I would get a relaxer. Now that I have decided to remove the weave I have noticed that my hair is very fine. It looks like I have a lot of hair coming from my scalp but it's just all very thin. Now the last couple of times I also burned my scalp with my lye relaxer. Could this thinning be from the weave or from the lye relaxer. I don't plan on getting anymore weaves and I'm praying that my hair will thicken up in about a month. Has anyone else experienced a problem like mine... if so what happened in your scenerio?

Thinning hair after weave removed?

It could have been a combination of things. Weaves, especially sewn in weaves can be kind of damaging. Black hair was not meant to continuously go through weaves, your hair needs a break from it every now and then. You need to give your hair a rest from all the stuff you've been doing to it. Hold off on using the relaxers and see if you can start using some styles that require little maintenance. I had a sewn in weave myself and my hair came out just like what you are describing. I had really thick hair but it started to thin out after taking the weave out. I had to take really good care of it to get it back to what it used to be. I deep conditioned it every week and started using pin on hair pieces for a low maintenance hairstyle that didn't involve me constantly combing, brushing and using heat in my hair. Luckily, my hair went back to what it used to be. Good luck with your hair and I'm sorry that you are going through this.

Thinning hair after weave removed?

It could be because of both. You can get hair loss from the weave pulling on your hair constantly and the chemicals in the relaxer. I think you should go natural for a while to let your hair and scalp rest.

Thinning hair after weave removed?

dont use anything like that, just wash your hair, pat it with a towel, blow dry and ur done... the stuff ur using damages ur hair, if u want ur hair thicker go to a nutrients store and ask them for hair thinning pills..

Thinning hair after weave removed?

This is a common problem with hair weaves. Its because when your hair is in a weave there is very little oxygen getting to your hair. Less oxygen means less fullness. You should give your hair a bit of a break between weaves, give your hair time to breathe so to speak :p

Do you like hair weave-long hair-short hair?

I used to have long hair, now it's short...I like both...

Personally, I'm not a big fan of free-standing weaves (i.e. ponytails and down styles, and the like)...They get hot, and if you don't get it done right, it looks absolutely ridiculous...The few times that I do use hair extensions, they're braids or natural-looking/kinky styles like this one http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y239/Ko... It's my favorite because it's so easy!...Just get up, use your hands to fluff it out, and go!

Do you like hair weave-long hair-short hair?

long hair or short hair. no weave.

Do you like hair weave-long hair-short hair?

Ummm... i prefer long hair, but really it depends on how it looks on the person, and whether they take care of their hair or not.

Do you like hair weave-long hair-short hair?

NO WEAVE. be glad with what god gave you. nothing is more gross than playing with your girls hair and it falls off. makes me sick just thinking about it.

Do you like hair weave-long hair-short hair?

I prefer long, because my hair is shoulder lenght, plus it's a different look.

Do you like hair weave-long hair-short hair?

Long hair, if well maintained.
