Hair Weave Help!?

I'm going to go "out on a limb" an get a hair weave. My hair used to be past my shoulders, but I got it cut about 2 years ago. It's about shoulder length now and I want a change. I'm 13 weeks pregnant and I want to stay away from relaxers. I'm new to this, but can I pretty much treat the weave hair the same way I do mine? Thanks!

Hair Weave Help!?

I wouldn't necessarily get a weave. Because it takes a lot of maintenance to keep it looking good. I would highly suggest getting braids, like cornrows or maybe even kinky twists that way you can wrap your hair at night wake up the next morning and don't have to worry about getting your hair straight. Just spray it and go. Braids would also be less time consuming too especially if you are experiencing morning sickness and if you are feeling like crap.

Whats the question here ? Congrats on pregnancy .. i suggest getting braids

Hair Weave Help!?

when i was pregnant, i wore a pre-curled ponytail i pinned in myself and every wk would take it out, wash my real hair on weekends and wrap my hair in a scarf until sunday night then put the ponytail back in for work on monday. i'm a hat and scarf person anyway so that's what i mainly wear when i can. but if i must do something to my hair i'll wear a ponytail real or weave or if i want to curl my real hair i'll flip the back and wear bangs in the front.

Hair Weave Help!?

Me personally, I would get braids because it takes a lot to keep weave up. Congratulations on the baby!

Hair Weave Help!?

I agree braids are perfect at this time. You don't want anything high maintenance at this time honey. LOL !!! Just find someone who is very good at it so it can be neat and kept for a long time.

Hair Weave Help!?

your hair grows fast while your pregnant.. i would suggest staying away from weave and get some cornrows. very low maintainence. good luck!!
