...my overview is that the braids are best but have a friend put a hortizal cornrow a little below the crown and sleep w/ it in for a wk..(some complain of tenderness) ...best to you

Well, if you know how to do weaves, you can go with any type. However, if you're just starting out learning, watch someone else - you DON'T want to look crazy. If you know how to cornrow, you can do that and sew some hair in, which is easiest and more done nowadays.
