From all the research I have done, in order to buy wholesale you need a valid cosmotology license, otherwise we would all buy are favorite products at wholesale.
You can start by contacting the makers of the products you want to carry, most of them have websites (ie: Matrix, Farouk) and ask them how to become a distributor.
If that doesnt work I know a lot of products I purchase via EBAY at highly discounted prices, they also have BULK auctions. But beware, you should know exactly what price your local retailer sells the product for before buying on EBAY, some things are not great deals, but look hard and long enough and you will find some.
