I'm African American. The last time I relaxed my hair was about 10 to 15 years ago and it all fell out. I think partially because the guy who did it "forgot" i had virgin hair. since then the only thing i do is color it. I'm hoping this time will be better. Any suggestions?? I have wicked Tyra envy and i'm SO SICK of braids I've had them forever!!!

Well, bonding is the worst. That glue will take your hair out if you do it continuously and it does not last long. Fusion is a bit expensive and I heard that takes your hair out too, because when your hair is attached to that hair they use a special kind of glue and when its time to take that hair out it makes your hair break. I know sew in is itchy but it is the best option if yu want a weave that lasts for about a month.

as the first girl said bonding is worse.....i personally wouldnt relax my hair after that..... i know ur tired of braids but u can wear ur hair natural and have it out try using some of these products to help......blended beauty or curls or any of the others (read them first but i personally suggest the one mentioned) at naturallycurly.com........at least try this before u relax ur hair then u can go right ahead if ur not satisfied.....go to their personal webites if ur not convinced

Well, it depends on what hair weave u talkinz about, cause there is all kinds the weave pony tails (which u put your hair up in a ball in put the weave pony tail n or regular weave in which you french braid it to someones hair. Um, it works all kinds of ways, jus look at some hairstyles or go to a hairstylist or somethin n they will tell you what a hair weave is.

there is no way that you can go to a salon and pay $100 to get the type of weave that you are looking for. The weave that looks the most natural would be achieved by getting fusion which can cost upwards of $600. Another popular thing that celebrities do is wear clip-in extensions which are great because it isn't permanent so you can have short hair one minute and long hair the next and vice versa. right now, tonight? get what is called a "fall" and pin it under your own hair and comb carefully to blend the two together.

If you must trim, use absolutely sharp scissors. Trimming individual split ends is called a "Search and Destroy Mission" and such *is* productive. If individual strands aren't split, just treat them nicely. Trimming good hair only shortens it.

there is no way to make your hair grow longer other than mother nature. do not believe any of those ads you see or hear about. they are all fake. if you want or need longer hair 'now' you will have to do the weave or something similar. good luck : )

clip your ends about once a month

keep your hair moisturized

try to stay away from blowdryers n curling irons,flat iron etc.

and drink a lot of water

There's no actual way to make it long fast. Protein is known to help growth, and so does making sure you AND your hair is healthy. The "grow half a foot of hair in a month" products don't work ;).

Making your hair longer by force is like trying to make yourself taller by force!
